"I was disappointed with my stay at the Cliff House. There was construction happening all around the front of the hotel and throughout the inside as well, and I was never made aware of it when booking. When paying a higher rate for a stay, guests should at least have the option to know about major construction beforehand. It really affected the overall experience. On top of that, the staff was not the friendliest or most welcoming. Overall, not the experience I expected."

"It was a very clean and hospitable establishment. Room was nice and beds comfortable. Only thing was that it advertised, it had a heated pool, but colder then cold and couldn't enjoy the swim."

"Room was just as advertised. So clean and quaint. The person at the desk was sweet. Breakfast area was beautiful, clean and had fresh flowers on the tables. It is close to the street so can hear traffic at night when trying to sleep but all in all a good experience. "
