Very comfortable hotel, very close to the beach

My experience at Helios was perfect. My room on the 6th floor was very clean, airy and comfortable. The nice balcony had a side view of the Med. The reception was friendly, courteous and efficient. I did not try their breakfast at all...

Amazing staying at the Helios hotel

Good location near the sea and street market,near train station,Helios beach really nice a bit expensive but everywhere else is the same but good quality!the hotel was really nice and comfortable,didn't get breakfast there so I can't say much about it! A bit expensive but it's worth it.

Disappointed Aussie

Very disappointed. The hotel does not appear as the pictures on the website. Quite old. Definitely not 4 star as portrayed. Staff were all friendly and breakfast was overall good. Outrageous to say that hotel has secluded private beach in fact you have to pay 50Euro per couple to enjoy the beach otherwise you go public and unfortunately beaches are packed in August so like sardines on a beach. I've never in my life paid to go on a beach and wont start at my time of life to pay for a beach experience.....Location of hotel was good for restaurants and nightlife.

We are sorry that you did not know that non of the private beaches on the French Riviera are free of charge. Most of our clients come to our Hotel and appreciate the service on the private beach. Personnel were nice and accomodating. Room was clean overall though I saw some hair on the bathroom floor, which were still ther after the room was cleaned on the second day. it's a 4 star hotel, but wouldn't give it more than a good 3. location is central and convenient. the rooms which do not face the sea or the road, have a really unpleasant courtyard view. Our room was small, but beds were comfortable. acustic needs improving.. our room was located at the end of the corridor and I could hear people speak on the staircase!

Outstanding hotel in beautiful town

We stayed for 5 days at this exceptional hotel, must be one of the best in the area. 2 minutes walk to beach and all restaurants and bars but far enough away to be quiet. Superb staff very helpful and friendly especially the young man on reception, outstanding customer service! Rooms cleaned perfectly everyday. The only drawback was the cost of using the private beach, should be reduced for hotel guests.

A comfortable place to stay in a central location near the beaches and nightlife. The responsive and respectful staff made an otherwise standard hotel with the basics more warm and welcoming.

Great stay, poor breakfast.

Overall had a great stay. Lovely location. Will definitely be visiting the area again. My major grip with this hotel is the poor breakfast. Being an Englishman on holiday I do enjoy a cooked breakfast. They had.. but on only one of the three occasions I ate breakfast was there a fully stoked selection. The first morning there was only eggs and bacon (which we waited 30mins for despite repeatedly asking the rather incompetent waitress where the hot food was) the second day was fully stocked (shocker) out final visit on the third day there was only eggs and sausages. To be fair the only full section was: eggs, hash brown, bacon and sausages. It just would have been nice to have a full selection everyday. The hotel cost me a considerable amount and feel very let down by the above. I do recommend this hotel but would suggest finding breakfast elsewhere.
