On amazing shopping street and close to sea front
We chose this hotel partly because of the spa and gym, but this proved disappointing. Several pieces of gym equipment didn't work, the gym was small and crowded and lacked working ventilation. Spa satisfactory, not fantastic. General smell of mould on ground floor near to swimming pool. On the other hand the room was comfortable, and though fairly small did not feel crowded. The worst thing was when we were charged for the room although we'd already paid for this via Expedia. However, once this was pointed out, the hotel rectified it quite quickly and apologised for their mistake.
Location is good: if you like shopping it's on one of the best shopping streets we've seen, with lots of medium priced boutiques and a Galeries Lafayette just off. Also, 5 minutes walk from sea front. Buffet breakfast also good.
A few annoying details, like you couldn't phone direct from the room any more even though the welcome brochure said you could - had to go down to front desk. Water machine in hall out of order, as was clock in sauna.
On balance we enjoyed our stay in Cannes, but not sure we'd go back to this hotel.
