Courteous and very friendly staff in the buffet restaurant, especially Ms. Yashoda if we got the name right. Indian food is the highlight, we ate the same cuisine for 4 days straight and still wanted more. Good pool area as well. Great location next to the buzzing Candolim beach road.

"Exceptional Hospitality
Novotel Gotel and spa in Goa impresses with its vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff it’s an old well maintained property.Kids loved the pool area and it’s close proximity to candolim beach makes it an ideal retreat. Guests consistently praise the Novotel resort and Spa in Goa for its exceptional staff. The team is recognized for their warm hospitality, attentive service, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. From the reception Linda, Shambhavi and Anchal at the restaurant, Daljit,Avi and Shubatra have been really helpful and were always around and took good care of us and not to mention Francis from the pool bar makes some amazing cocktails a must try,visitors often highlight the friendly and helpful demeanor of the staff, contributing to a positive and memorable experience at Novotel Hotel and Spa Goa.

Very tired and shabby looking property. Rooms, spa, pool all in need of some serious TLC and a renovation. Rooms are small and there were musty smells that frequently entered our room presumably from the AC. Staff were young and inexperienced. Everything took sooooo long or had to be asked for several times. There also appeared to be a complete lack of anyone in charge - front of house, in the reception which probably explains the erratic/ non existent service. On reflection the best service came from the main entrance security who always said hello / smiled / were friendly whenever we entered or arrived. I can only assume they were outsourced! On the plus side the food from the al la carte menu was ok. Definitely wouldn’t return. Much better and cheaper places to stay in Candolim.

The room cleanliness was poor The window was open and there were mosquitoes in the room I found cockroaches in the bathroom. The room had a strange bad smell lingering on, thankfully we had aroma candles and that helped. The parking staff deserve compliments for managing in a very constrained space.

Front office is not at all friendly. Some of the staff are quiet arrogant. The feel it’s the only hotel left in Goa. But I would never prefer anyone to stay in this property.

The stay at Novotel Goa Resort & Spa was excellent and very comfortable from all perspectives. It's remarkable how the property is maintained, staff is well trained and food preparations are delectable. It will always be the first preference for future stays in Goa. My special appreciation to their differently-abled housekeeping staff who (despite their natural limitations) strives for guest satisfaction. I'm impressed, honestly.

Hotel is having good infrastructure facilities but service is poor. To start with 1) No valet parking 2) I had to ask 2-3 times at the entrance to take the luggage. 3) No welcome drink was served. However, when I showed my displeasure they offered me some drinks coupons. 4) No placards having extensions for in room dining, reception, laundry etc was there in the room. 5) The AC vent began to leak in my room. However, they were quick to rectify it. One does not expect such shoddiness from a 5 star. They need to improve on their service aspect.

Disappointing experience at breakfast
The stay was good only when the last day before check out when I went to have my breakfast I discovered one unhygienic thing...I was saying at the South Indian counter for my dosa where the chef was making my dosa & while making it the spatula he used for applying the masala on dosa was scraped off in a bin and then without washing and cleaning the same spatula he used it to apply the masala on dosa...which was disappointing so I left the plate then n there without having my breakfast & left the restaurant.... I went upstairs to check out where the chef n duty manager came running to offer me some goodies since they knew it was their big mistake...I refused for any goodies... I also gave a note to the receptionist and told him it’s not done...hope the management takes necessary actions and control the hygiene level especially when the covid times still exists...

our second time here, the hotel is great, clean. the only reason i did not give it a full rating was because of the covid situation. so certain areas were blocked off .. not their fault though. I would recommend this hotel.

The room service was good and very responsive. Many services were unable to experience due to covid restrictions. Spa services are excellent. The hotel location is Ok and the property is also Ok but can be better for the price and the Novotel brand.

Had a good vacation there
Have a enjoyable and good stay in Novotel with some Cons. Pros - a) Excellent support staffs. All the staffs were very cordial. b) Clean property and the rooms. c) Prompt service. d) Have good number of activities for the kids. Cons - a) Not really feels like a resort, more like a hotel b) Not a very good variety of Breakfast. Could have been better. c) A bit far away from the beach, although they have shuttles running all the day long.

Nice Hotel, Great Service.

Well located providing all the comforts
I stayed there for 2 night, the location of the hotel is not on the main road but it's good as you are in a quieter place (which is much need when on holiday). The convenience of getting a taxi or a scotty is right outside the hotel so a plus there. The pool of the hotel is only 4mts deep so that everyone can enjoy. They also have recreational activities like TT, basketball badminton darts etc. If it was not my 1st time in goa i could have stayed in the hotel and would have enjoyed the time at the hotel.

The building was set in open teared blocks. It is how I imagine the landings of a prison would look like. I also had an issue with the security staff , Who had no knowledge of simple hotel policy, Even though it was written in plain English for everyone to see. I would not recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel. Perfect setting within 2 mins walk of the restaurants but yet enough distance away to allow some peace and solitude. Staff were excellent, always wanting to help, always a smile, can't fault them.

This is one of the best hotels I have visited. Not only the property but what's more promising is the staff and services. We were in the hotel with our toddler and we had one of the best vacation, everything was available at ease and at no extra cost. Amazing ambience, location and hospitality. I would give it 10 out of 10 in every aspect.
