I have stayed in better places
We stayed five nights in Omni Cancun. Even though all inclusive you need to carry cash to tip the employees for the better service.
I booked a deluxe room, they gave us a room with no view. I was seeing a roof top and ac units. Room was falling apart. Balcony door wasn't locking, they came and fixed in the first day. We asked hand towel they kept bringing shower towel. Shower had was malfunctioning and stopped working completely in the second day. Then we asked a new room, they agreed to moves us to different room on the higher level then we realized how bad was initial room. In the new room we had the ocean view, glass door shower, newer furniture, even the towels were new.
After paying $130 per adult per night I was expecting better room quality. It was a disappointment.
There were not so much activity for the kids, pool needs better water circulation.
Ocean is very wavy in that section of Cancun. It could be dangerous even for the adult. We spent our time mostly by the pool.
They have Mexican, Italian and Asian restaurants. We could only tried the Mexican, other ones were already booked when we checked in our first day in the hotel. In Italian restaurant, they don't let you book after 6 pm if you have any kids.
