Great location

Pros: Cleanliness, staff, food.
Cons: nothing I can think of right now
Location: Very convenient. There is a mall right across the street, within walking distance. Designer mall down the street which you can get to by bus.
The Hyatt Zilara was beautiful and clean. The food was good with many choices, much more than any other "all Inclusive" resort I have stayed at in the past. Service was impeccable and the staff was excellent. Unlike other resorts, this one had plenty of cabanas available on the beach. I also liked that it is adults only. This all made for a very enjoyable vacation.

Amazing hotel which made our trip extra fun ! With all the shows the hotel offered and fun activities at the pool during the day our stay was full of things to do.

A quick getaway in Cancun

Pros: The staff makes this hotel worth returning to, Daniel, Pedro, Angle, Fhilippe, Agner are excellent ambassadors of the brand and made our trip GREAT.
Cons: Beautiful shower, would be nice if anything but scolding HOT water came out to allow us to enjoy it.
Location: hotel is in the hotel zone and for a few dollars you can be downtown or at a marina off on an adventure. Great location.
My wife and I went to Cancun for her birthday and stayed at the Hyatt Zilara (10th -15th) and had a wonderful time. The weather was almost perfect, rained one day and the surf was mild most days near the hotel. Not to busy or crowded this time of year and as always we look to return soon.

Don't be fooled by looks

Pros: The room was very nice, and a great achol selection.
Cons: The staff , maintenance and hotel
Location: Ther is nothing around the area accept an old run down mall , not great for shopping.
Over all not worth it . First the lobby and most of the hotel has no air-condition, very hot and uncomfortable. Second no activities around the pool . Also the pool is terribly hot no matter what time Of the day it is. Rooms are nice and very clean house keeping was real professional and nice. The food was below average, no matter what you get it was all ways cold very poor quality. Oh and if you want lobster and steak it is an additional 50.00 us dollars. My wife and I have stayed with at many all inclusive resorts in cancun , despite the review they show don't believe it stay at the new RIU RESORT in cancu that's a real all inclusive 5 star resort.

Pros: the architecture and design
Cons: plan accordingly for construction/ remodeling and warn guests- we were not even told at check-in even though they clearly knew they were redoing it
Location: there is a mall nearby otherwise book an excursion if you are not looking to go shopping. beach and pool all day is pretty much your only option
As a whole the hotel was beautiful. However, the entire duration of my trip -1 week- the only outside oceanview restaurant was closed. We specifically chose this hotel because of the different options to eat from being it is all inclusive and we planned on eating every meal at the hotel. The construction going on was very disturbing to our relaxing vacation- hammers, drills, etc., not to mention we did not get to eat at or enjoy this supposed beautiful restaurant. Apparently there was roof damage that needed to get fixed- understandable, however, because the restaurant was right on top of the pool I watched them paint and make unnecessary repairs my entire trip. they should have remodeled during a planned time when guests were warned. Additionally, like many of the other reviews, I too got deathly sick on my last day of vacation here, only drank bottled water too. Not good.

Awesome place and wonderful staff!!!

The hotel is beautiful, updated and clean but what makes this place stand out is the personnel that takes care of the you,from the front desk to the beach waiters,they all want to make you feel like royalty.......definitely will make plans to go back.
