Not a bad hotel but lots of minor problems

Food wasn't that great, limited options. Walls are super thin. Our Patio door was broken. The mini Fridge didn't work at all. I would not be staying here again.

close to beach great staff

Pros: the location and the food.
Cons: none
Location: lots of water activities near by and also nightlife scene was walking distance.
From the moment I arrived I was greeted and treated like a King. The staff was very friendly and took care of check in and bags promptly.

Ongoing construction next room and very noisy!

Pros: location
Cons: the front desk staff could be more honest and really try to help their guest. I was very frustrated during my stay.
Most of the hotel staffs are reasonable, except for the front desk people. Before we went there, I called and confirmed that it will be a king bed room with ocean view and in-unit Jacuzzi. However, we got a two queen bed room with partial ocean view room and no Jacuzzi at all. After our request, we were moved to a room next to their construction/renovation with horrible noise until 2-3 AM. I had to call the manager 4-5 times that night to stop the very loud music the workers next door was playing!!! So overall, we have to move three times until we have a quiet room, again, not their promised Jacuzzi.

2017 New Year Stay

Great location and access to the beach. Adjacent beach is almost too good to be natural - w/clean white sand and clean and warm turquoise water. The beach is just incredible. The main tower of the hotel is way too old for any ratings above 2.5 - 3***. Newer areas seemed nice, but required additional, cost bearing upgrades, which we chose to pass (~regrettably). Higher floor request at 11 am in the morning (before regular check in time) required a minor argument at the front desk, which lacked any welcoming smiles (avoid Alejandra if u can). Oceanview and the sound of waves from L6 of the main tower however was near priceless. It felt that the hotel caters mostly to travelers from Latin America, so it felt like the English speaking services or engagements were a little subpar. Also it was a decent family-based place, but way too lame for evening adults time. They push you off to the local nightclubs, but that's a bit too much on the other end of the spectrum. The happy middle is COMPLETELY IGNORED. Food and drink bars were ok; I'd rate it 3-3.5/5. Sweet drinks were too sweet and weak on alcohol content. Wisky, scotch, vodka n tequila based drinks required emphasis on more alcohol first and then a splash of added juice or soda or etc... The food services start at 7 am, but if you have any scheduled trips to the parks or excursions the buses will pick you up around 7:25 am. That leaves you with a little time to have a decent breakfast; especially if you are with kids

Pros: Concierge was very helpful in accommodating our shuttle to and from the airport.
Cons: Faster internet connection
Nice view of the beach from our room. All inclusive package includes alcohol drinks.

Nice Hotel

Pros: Close to beautiful beach. Food is nice, Pool is clean and wide, Flexible service from hotel staff.
Cons: Introduction for park royal membership program was not compulsory actually, but it was hard for us to understand if we can refuse to listen it.
Location: its location is within 20minutes from Airport. There are several restaurants within 10minutes walking distance.
First night, the room we stayed has weaker shower (something was wrong), however, they changed room next day, and its room was great. Just in front of beach, great shower!! There are 4 restaurants. Buffet, Asian, Italian, and Mexican. Asian - so so, Buffet - OK, Italian and Mexican - Great! We could really enjoy and have relaxed time with this hotel. Only thing we were not comfortable was that hotel concierge had requested us to join park royal membership program and they took 1.5hrs for their explanation...
