Excellent value

Posted 28-Jun-2016
The hotel is excellent value. We had a 2 BR/1 Bath apartment. We had everything we needed including a washer/dryer. Very clean, perhaps a tad bland. The front desk gentleman was very professional. Great restaurants on Mort Street behind the hotel - Black Fire for dinner and Paleo Cafe has a lively breakfast.

Excellent room. So spacious and comfortable. Big bathroom and great sized bathtub. Fully functioning kitchen. Would recommend for anyone, especially families. Another bonus, was very quiet.

Friendly and convenient

Posted 06-May-2016
Pros: Convenient location, friendly and professional staff, spacious and well equipped apartment.
Cons: Only minor complaint was the level of traffic noise from Northbourne Ave.
Our two bedroom apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was convenient - about a 10 minute walk to Canberra Central shopping area, and only a couple of minutes away from the Braddon cafes. When we initially checked in, our reservation didn't come up and was found in a "pending" state, however, the manager was extremely professional and courteous, arranging for the rollaway bed I had requested for our little one to be brought up within half an hour of our check in and offering us free car parking for the duration of our stay.

Great location - walking distance to boutique shops, brewery and restaurants. Great balcony for meals. Plenty of room. ACT at its best in colour in Autumn....

Good hotel close to cafes and city centre

Posted 25-Apr-2016 on Wotif
The hotel is a great place for families or a girls weekend away. It is conveniently located very close to the city centre and at the back it is close walking distance to cafes and shops. The free parking is great and is nice a secure at night. The rooms were clean and had everything you could need. Spacious enough and you weren't all falling over each other and your bags. Would highly recommend staying here and I will be on my next trip down to camber.

A great place to stay in our capital city.

Posted 25-Apr-2016 on Wotif
Pros: Cleanliness, size of apartments and well-equipped. Nicely renovated and up to date décor.
Cons: Free WiFi would be nice. We didn't want to pay the extra for that.
Location: It is only a short 5-10 minute walk to Canberra centre, therefore relatively easy to find buses. We walked to the War Memorial.
A very clean, well-equipped apartment that served the needs of our family of 4 for a week. 2 televisions was handy when you have children. 2 bathrooms and washing facilities in the apartment itself were very convenient. A well equipped kitchen with oven, range, microwave and a good sized fridge helped us to save money by preparing our own meals. We dined one evening at the Breeze Sports Bar downstairs, taking advantage of their early bird discount - they know how to do a good steak properly, and the food overall was of a high standard. We had a full breakfast there one day as well- a great range of food to choose from. The pool was fantastic, particularly for my daughter who loves to swim and despite the cooling weather. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends planning to visit Canberra.
