"Truly a beautiful and old world look agriturismo. Felt like we were in an antique villa. Large room and excellent service. The owner is very nice and professional. Breakfast is home made, fresh, abundant and soooo good!!! 5 stars hotel except this little village outside of Bologna is nothing special. But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price."

"The place is located just outside the center of Bologna, in a quiet and peaceful area. By car, the city center is about 25 minutes away, and within less than 10 minutes you can find supermarkets and restaurants. It is also very close to the airport, which makes it very convenient. Communication with the host was excellent — they answered all my questions quickly, clearly, and very helpfully throughout my stay."

"When we arrived it took the host some time to open the gate. We took a taxi as this place is quite far out from modena. When he opened the gate he did not help unload or ask how the journey was etc but was chatting with our taxi driver as we stood obviously waiting to get to our rooms. He then told us the restaurant on site is closed and so was the pool. It was early evening when we arrived. We asked if there is anywhere to get food and he said he would tell us where but then picked up a phone...

"The hotel is a magnificant old palazzo in a great location. The staff is incredibly helpful and curteous. The ACs in the rooms need to be upgraded. Despite the problem we had with the AC, the staff did everything possible to remedy the situation. I rate this hotel very highly."

"The hotel was clean and amenities useful and clean. My only reason for giving a 4 instead of 5 is the late night check in. The machine doesn't read the ID due to glare from the lighting. We spent 30 minutes with remote support before we were checked in. At midnight, after a delayed journey, it is not a good welcome."

"I had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well, which was especially appreciated during the summer. The stay seemed to be a great value. My only suggestion would be to add sheer curtains so guests can have natural light during the day while still maintaining privacy. Other than that, everything was excellent. I wish there were more hotels like this during my travels in Italy, and I would happily recommend it to others."

"This hotel is spotless, looks a little dated from the outside but really modern inside. The front desk staff were really nice. Gym is spot on, little table football downstairs for the kids, and a pool table upstairs, all free too. The restraunt is clean, although I didn't have di ner there. Breakfast was just what you expect, no complaints there. I do feel one of the staff members could come across more friendly, also heard another grouo say the same thing. You do feel a wee bit isolated where it's situated but if you look into it there's a small town on the way to bologna that we popped into on the Sunday as nowhere near by was open, we found an amaizing little pizza shop, doesn't look impressive from the outside but woowsers the pizza was banging you cam get the bus to bologna, very regular service and the bus always appears on time. Beware though o. Hiw to purchase tickets, we asked someone on the bus and tapped my card for a family of four, this isn't how it works. Ended up getting a 117 euro fine, extremely unlucky as the people who check your tickets aren't always on the bus. So make sure you use a different card for every traveler. We tried to explain it was an honest mistake. Any hoo hotel was great and would def stay again."
