"Great place and a great host. Pity that we could stay only one night this time. We appreciate that Valerie helped us with all the questions that we had asked. We really liked her green approach: no plastic used; she made her own juice and yoghurt. Everything else (jam, honey etc) was stored in small glass containers."

La piscine est géniale, le repos est assuré, et la région regorge de magnifiques endroits à découvrir.Nous avons également fait une très belle rencontre avec les propriétaires et leurs enfants. Une famille formidable, pleine d’amour et de bienveillance. Leur accueil a été d’une grande chaleur, à la fois attentionné, prévenant et discret.Un immense merci pour tout. "One of the best hotels I have stayed at. In beautiful surroundings with a rustic charm but with fantastic modern rooms. The staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for you and were bilingual, which was a big help for me. Effortlessly conversing in English and German. The bed was comfy, the shower amazing and the TV a nice big size. The restaurant was fabulous and every meal I had there was delicious. I loved the outside areas too, either cooling off in the pool, reading a book in the tranquil gardens or having a coffee next to the river. The perfect stay!"

"Lovely shabby chic style hotel with lots of upcycled features within a renovated collection of buildings around a central courtyard. Attentive welcome from the owner and lots of nice touches, such as the gifting of a delicious homemade chocolate dessert on our final night. Makes a pleasant change from overly commercialised and formulaic hotels, where you are just part of a pipeline of guests - this feels more like staying with family or friends. Highly recommended"
