Walking up the steep staircase of 70 steps, on the left-hand side of the building, guests will reach the fourth and last floor with direct access to the apartment. On the right hand of the small entry corridor there is a fully equipped kitchen (fitted with microwave as well), together with a full bathroom with shower. In front of the kitchen, it opens to a bright and cozy living room with wood flooring and furnished with a double sofa bed, a glass dining table and a built-in bookcase. Taking a couple steps up, right next to the sofa, guests will reach the mezzanine floor where the bedroom is located, provided with a queen-sized bed and a small TV. The flat boasts a small terrace where to enjoy a wonderful view over the sea, the mountains and the town of Camogli. \*The apartment is located on the top floor at the end of a steep flight of 70 steps. Therefore, it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. \*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy. The charming town of Camogli is a typical seaside village which became a tourist center known for its marina and colorful buildings on the seafront, also known as “the city of a thousand white sailing ships”. The city center, which occupies the valley to the west of the Mount of Portofino, overlooks Golfo Paradiso, at the western end of the Portofino promontory, on the east coast, east of Genoa. Between Camogli and Portofino, in the clear waters of the protected area of Portofino, you will find the bronze statue of the “Christ of the abyss” from 1954 is located at 17 meters deep. Moreover, the largest part of the Portofino regional natural park which belongs to Camogli is worth a visit, and do not miss the defensive castle of Dragonara di Camogli, which boasts a stunning sea view. For a spiritual experience, the bright basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, built in 1826, is really worth a visit. Sehr schönes Bad und gut ausgestattete, funktionale Küche. Die Lage ist genial (wenn man dann unfallfrei unten ist) - 2 Minuten zum Strand. Aber: Die Treppen, hoch in den 5.Stock, sind eine echte Herausforderung für nicht mehr ganz so junge Gäste und entsprechen so garnicht unseren Normen - damit muss man in Camogli rechnen. Zum Hochbett geht’s dann noch mal steil und eng nach oben. Dort muss man auf allen Vieren ins Bett kriechen. Ist man dort, ist’s ganz gemütlich, mit Blick zum Hafen. Nachts raus und runter gehört dann wieder zu den kleinen Abenteuern!! Große schwere Koffer würde ich zu Hause lassen. Der Eingang liegt in einer Anwohnerzone, in die man eigentlich garnicht reinfahren darf. Wir habens trotzdem gemacht - geht nicht anders, um Gepäck aus- und einzuladen. Zu mietender Parkplatz ist fast 2 km entfernt (nach oben) - unbedingt anmieten, sonst ist man in Camogli verloren. Das sollte in der Beschreibung deutlicher gemacht werden. Bahnhof ist ca 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Kontaktnahme per WhatsApp, Empfang und Einweisung waren problemlos und freundlich. Am Balkon sollte noch ein Sonnenschutz angebracht werden.
