Excellent Experience

Posted 14-Apr-2016 on Orbitz
Both Ted & Lisa & Deb were wonderful. Very attentive to our needs. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the food they prepared. Love it, love it, love it

Perfect place to stay in Camden

Posted 08-Apr-2016
Pros: Everything about our experience was fantastic - from the hostess, to the room to the food!!
Treated like royalty - such a nice spot that is in walking distance to the main street!

B&B within walking distance of Camden village

Posted 22-Feb-2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Proximity to downtown, the building itself, comfy beds
Cons: Soundproofing isn't excellent- we could hear guests using the stairs and a bit of kitchen-prep noise from our room (near kitchen)
Location: Walk to shops, restaurant, and harbor in Camden (just around the corner). Leave car parked at inn.
Lovely B&B with a great location relative to the shops and restaurants in Camden. Even though the inn is old, the guest room felt fresh, modern and comfortable (I'm not a huge fan of the overly-frilly B&B style). Breakfast was great, and warm brownies at check-in were a nice touch.

Very nice B&B short walk from town

Posted 16-Nov-2015
Pros: The staff, which consists of the owners, who were not in town for most of our stay, and Deb. Deb is awesome.
Excellent location - short 5 minute walk to Camden town center. Service was top-notch, as was breakfast. Comfortable room and bed. We got a great night's sleep each of the three nights we were there.

First class all the way!

Posted 05-Oct-2015
Pros: The hosts, the location, the breakfasts and the luxurious accommodations.
Cons: Coffe maker in the room though it is available all day in the main inn.
Location: Right on the main highway but set back so not noisy, in town, short drive to Mt Battie and Rockland.
This grand Inn and adjoining carriage house provided us with first class service, a warm welcome and a delightful stay for three nights in Camden. We parked the car in the large lot and made ourselves comfortable in the Norfolk Suite on the top floor of the carriage house. We enjoyed this spacious room with King bed, lovely deck overlooking the large back yard with towering oak trees all around, and the large en suite with massive jacuzzi. The breakfasts were fantastic, very creative and delicious. We had an easy stroll into town. We highly recommend this Inn!

Wonderful breakfast and gracious hosts. Couldn't have ask for more. They even fixed us a to go bag for breakfast when we checked out early that morning.

Weekend at the Hawthorne Inn

Probably the best B&B in Camden and we've stayed at a few. Great service and excellent rooms.
