A pleasant couple of nights away
I wanted somewhere decent and not overly expensive whilst visiting and the Pearl appeared to fit the job. Whilst I hadn't realised there wasn't a dining room/hot breakfast (and the reason I didn't give it full marks) both staff and hotel were very nice.
I also liked the idea of the Thai restaurant 'next door' (it's all the same building but you go out of the hotel and a very few yards round to get into the restaurant). I had two good meals there. Very pleasant service, good food, reasonable price. Considering I stayed Friday and Saturday nights I'm surprised I didn't see the restaurant busier.
