The Reception staff. Jamie and Richard were excellent both on check-in and shortly afterwards answering several questions and taking actions as appropriate in response to them in a very prompt courteous and professional manner. Overall, they represented Ramada extremely well.
Friendly staff and reasonably priced for a bit dated room(noticed under and around beds needed a good vacuum after checking we hadnt left anything behind).
This place has not been properly maintained. The vents in the ceiling were filled with dust, the paint or wallpaper on the walls were coming off, and the bathroom was filled with grime around the sink and in the shower tall. I couldn't stay in there at all due to how unkept it was. I asked for a refund due to leaving on site and have yet to receive it. This place is not meant for an extended stay.
Our first impression was watching a teenager vomit in the hallway as we made our way to our room. Tje vomit and the smell remained there for days despite bringing it to the attention of the front desk daily.
The hotel itself is in a sad state of disrepair and unclean.
Decent service station stop but tired and needs a proper refurb to be anything more than this

Stopover on the motorway. Clean no frills . Food outlets to grab something to eat ,sleep and continue with travelling in the morning after driving for seven hours
Great variety of available food near by. Great value for money. Only downside was not provided enough towels, cups or milk for a family of 4 but was rectified when requested.

Two night stay.
Hotel was ok but a little tired.
Hook in bathroom was hanging off the door. Hairdryer not working. Body wash in shower was empty when we arrived.
Not enough cups for 3 of us and no glasses in the room.
Reception provided glasses and cups when we asked.
Very comfortable and good value for money. Unfortunately my stay was spoiled by the fire alarm going off during the evening and again early in the morning. There was an ironing board but no iron strangely enough. But otherwise it was fine.

Basic hotel, for the traveller. Not designed or in the right place for more than one night stay. Hotel based within the Cambridge Services area. I don't think I have stayed in a Ramada Hotel before, I thought it may be if better quality but it served my requirements for the night. Breakfast was very basic overdone bacon. Had to ask for everything. No bread out and when asking only had brown.Coffee machine broken. No cutlery on table. Breakfast not worth £11. I would have had a better deal getting a McDonald's from next door.
Booked two rooms for a family stay. Both had minor cleanliness issues and were showing signs of age. One room had faulty air conditioning and was too cold.
For a Cambridge stay, it was cheap, but I would have expected the basics to have been done better.
Room was really cold asked to move but said could not and did not know how to turn heating on better so slept the night in my warm jacket and had socks on food was ok but very expensive would not book again
Rooms were not cleaned, beds not made during our stay. Told by receptionist this was normal. Not in any hotel I have stayed in , UK and worldwide and I was a tour manager ! Utter nonsense.
Fire alarm at midnight, no one in 24 hour reception?
Caused by guest smoking in non smoking room. Receptionist appeared at same time as fire brigade to inform guests it was a false alarm saying that it was more important to tell the guests in non smoking room to stub out their cigarettes first…….
Very unimpressed guests in nightwear and coats - some hotels offer refund for disturbed night’s sleep. Not this one!
Asked to move rooms due to excessive noise from neighbouring room , also had fire alarms going off at 1am , shower was cold . Bad experience in general plus I’ve had to pay for it 😡

Has very good surrounding shops and restaurants. The hotel itsel needs a refurbishment
Staff were friendly, hotel was very quiet can not believe we were at a service station near a busy main road. The room was clean but there were a few water stains around a ventilation grill a touch up of paint would have taken care of. Plenty of tea and coffee even decaf, we were there just the one night but we would have been comfortable there for a week. Can not comment on the food as we had dinner out and we had to leave before breakfast was served. Will definately book there again.

Good location, very cold room
Good reception service. Good location with lot of parking space. Plenty of near by restaurants. Room temperature- very cold. Not able to change with control dial.

The hotel is ideal for an overnight for those who need an overnight due to travel distance.
no frills, just a comfy bed and a good shower.
I was a bit disappointed the gym facility was closed. i was not made aware of this at booking
