Chose the location due to proximity to friends and Peterborough itself. Bath was a little marked and the light as you walk through the door didn't work. BUT room was lovely, hotel amenities were great, and the pool was fantastic!

we stayed for 2 nights, the rooms were comfortable and the staff were very helpful. however on our second morning the breakfast was very disappointing, the sausages were the cheapest you could buy which had a funny taste, the yogurt needed to be in individual pots rather then in a big bowl, and the bacon was very crispy. I think for the price of the breakfast the quality was very poor. I would like to add that the staff in the breakfast room were very helpful. In addition i think for what i had to pay for the 2 night break was expensive for what we got. I will probably stay up the road at the Orton spa hotel next time.

Good middle ranging hotel

My husband left his gasses - Erica on reception packed them carefully and posted them to London so we had them before we returned to Norway on Tuesday. This was excellent service - and my offer to cover costs was refused. I was impressed. Thanks

Great Stay

Enjoyed 2 nights stay, great breakfast buffet well worth adding on. had reasonably priced room service.. twin beds and room a little small but clean and comfortable . lies ure facilities a little small so go at quiet times of day, clean and we'll maintained.

Disappointed

The rooms have been nicely refurbished and are comfortable. The service in the bar was very slow. We had the buffet breakfast but when my husband went to get his they had run out of most items and although he asked several times for certain items to be brought out he had to wait 20 minutes to get a complete breakfast as they kept bringing out the wrong things.No one was overseeing the breakfast hot plate. We also booked and paid for breakfast but they didn't get this information from Hotels.com and charged us for another two breakfasts, which were refunded.

excellent staff service, refurbished room excellent facilities, shame about the spa being out of action but everything else was great!
