Nice hotel and room. Good swimming pool facilities. A few negatives: fire alarm went off in the middle of the night (technical fault) which meant a disrupted night's sleep. Unavoidable though I think. Service in the restaurant was pretty slow for our evening meal- we only ate there one night. And ...
Classic manor house. If the walls could talk, I'm sure there are tales to be told. Staff was excellent. The rooms show a bit of age, although comfortable. Very quiet setting in the country side. Would recommend if you are looking a grand property with lots of character.
Hotel is in nice grounds, far enough away from the city to feel like you are in the countryside but it only takes a few minutes to be in the city centre
good location for exploring and valet parking service excellent. Staff very good but hotel is tired and rooms outdated. Expensive rates for the overall hotel quality and condition.
Hotel in a good location with fantastic walks and lakes all around it but within 15 mins walking distance of the city centre. Sadly the hotel is a little tired and would benefit from some revamping and new carpets. Rooms lacked little things on the furniture side like suitcase stands etc. It needs ...

Not a huge amount of food on the buffet, but you could order freshly cooked eggs. Friendly staff and ideally situated on the next street for Peterborough town, shops, restaurants ...
Location! Location! Absolutely loved our stay here! It is a very convenient location close to bars and restaurants etc! Beds were super comfy! It is an old hotel with lots of character.
