"Motor inn (and motor out)"
We stayed here one night on a recent trip traveling back toward London from Liverpool. We booked this room to break up the drive and to get a taste of Cambridge before heading home. We checked in very late but reception is 24 hours. There is also parking right in front of the hotel. It couldn't be more convenient as it is located at a services stop. The hotel was about a 10-15 minute drive to Cambridge. Staff was very helpful and the room was a typical Ramada room - no complaints. Breakfast was included.

"Lovely accommodation in beautiful surroundings "
We stayed for one night. Check in was fast and helpful. Our room was a good size, the bathroom was clean and did the job but did not have a luxurious finish! Bed was ok, we're used to having memory foam but that's a personal preference. Breakfast buffet was good - sausages and bacon were exceptional quality. We took a walk around the grounds which are lovely.

"Good overnight stay."
We stay at Redwings when we visit family in the area, Rooms are always clean and beds comfortable. The rest of the furnishings are simple but adequate. Bathrooms are small but adequate, the shower head is high but not adjustable, the towels are a bit too small for my comfort but they are clean and soft. And, a major plus, there is a cereal and toast breakfast included in the tariff. Oh, and there is fresh filter coffee available.

"Long weekend away."
Perfect for what we required. Very near to station as travelling in from London on Thursday evening. We checked out on Sunday morning. We hired a car from Avis for two days as very near to the hotel as we were visiting Rutland. All worked perfect. The breakfast were delicious with lots of choice. Staff were very efficient and polite. We had dinner in the hotel on our arrival which was beautifully cooked and served by a lovely chatty waitress.

"Good hotel with staff that care"
Having stayed at this hotel a number of times now for business, I will choose this one over some of the others from chain hotels, why, because the people that work,in it remember who you are, they go out their way to help you, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, gym is good and the food is good, for me it's about customer care and my experience has been very good.

"Good place to stay in Cambridge"
We stayed for two nights. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful; the breakfast menu was above average with attentive service. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the historic core of the town.

"A pleasant couple of nights away"
I wanted somewhere decent and not overly expensive whilst visiting and the Pearl appeared to fit the job. Whilst I hadn't realised there wasn't a dining room/hot breakfast (and the reason I didn't give it full marks) both staff and hotel were very nice. I also liked the idea of the Thai restaurant 'next door' (it's all the same building but you go out of the hotel and a very few yards round to get into the restaurant). I had two good meals there. Very pleasant service, good food, reasonable price. Considering I stayed Friday and Saturday nights I'm surprised I didn't see the restaurant busier.
