Overall a good value for failities and amenities. a few things not up to standard of a Marriott.
The staff were the cherry on top of an all round enjoyable and relaxing stay. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and the hotel amenities were swell !
Clean and tidy just a little dated. Good value for money.
it doesn't have a reception counter, but its staff are really nice and come to you the moment you go into the hotel and help you check in the room is really big, which I love so much. yet the temperature of the shower is not high enough to fulfill my yearning desire for a hot shower after a day out ...

Lovely location next to the a1. Good food and great service. Staff really helpful and nothing to much trouble. Party was excellent. Lovely room. Bedroom was a bit dated and had a very squeaky floor but very old building so to be expected. Would definitely recommend.
If you're just looking for a place to rest and break up a trip, it's decent for the price. Free breakfast is just cereal and toast but does the job.
