"This may sound like a backhanded compliment, but there was nothing spectacular about this hotel. However, everything about it was very very, very good! And sometimes, that's perfect! The hospitality was exceptional, complementary breakfast was outstanding, and the pool is in better condition than most big brand hotels out there. Room had two queen beds, and while you can tell that the hotel has been there for a while, everything was in really good condition. Conveniently located, exceptionally priced, it was exactly what we needed for a short weekend getaway. Would absolutely stay there again and certainly plan to! "

"IPC is a "hidden gem." It was great, from "soup to nuts." Especially the staff, who were all friendly, polite, knowledgeable, flexible, and helpful. Thanks to all of them on our behalf, please: staff are what make all the difference at any resort. (SPA treatments are a must.) Just one suggestion: provide more TV options, especially the movies! (Old movies are best.) We will return....often."

"We were a little hesitant to book a room because of the negative reviews, but went ahead with it because the photos looked good. Yes, the hotel is undergoing renovation, and that should be mentioned on Expedia. We had no trouble finding the temporary entrance, the staff was friendly and courteous. Our room and bathroom were very clean, the bed comfortable. We were given fresh towels and toiletries every day. We had no issues whatsoever with the construction, and will absolutely stay here again in the future."

"This property is ideal if you are planning in visiting Ocean city. Something that I liked from here is that the property is surrounded by many food options like Long Horne restaurant, Olive Garden, McDonald’s, Hardee’s, among others."
