"Nice hotel close to harvard"
Clean, comfort and neat. A little worry about the bathroom, because there is only one and no lock, which is shared by at least 4 customers.

"Great location. Clean and attractive rooms."
The room was tiny, but otherwise everything was good. Like most good hotels in Boston and Cambridge, you'll pay a premium for the location, but once you get past that hitch, it's quite a nice hotel. And I know this is the silliest little amenity, but the unlimited access to free water and soft drinks was just a nice added touch.

There was always something to do! Complimentary bikes, kayaks and wine! Staff were amazingly attentive and helped you with any questions or queries, never felt uncomfortable or unsure. Hotel itself is very beautiful; clean and well presented. Same for the rooms, lovely interior. Perfect for dog owners. They really do have everything you'd want

"Charming B&B in a great location"
We found the Mary Prentiss Inn online at a well known travel review site. The inn was pretty much as described in the reviews. It is a charming renovated Victorian home with limited parking beneath the building. The rooms are renovated and our room, although small, had a new kitchen area in former closet with a sink, mini refrigerator and microwave, which is all we needed. We were on the first floor near the parlor so unfortunately we often heard noise from hall traffic as well as from the neighbors' backyard. But there was no street noise at all from nearby Mass Ave. On the plus side the room was super convenient for breakfast, tea (great cookies every day at 4 pm) and bringing up suitcases from the parking area. The staff was extremely helpful and the receptionist even moved her car to allow us to park in her space below the building. The location of the inn is excellent - walking distance to Harvard and Porter Squares as well as the T stops there. We would definitely recommend the Mary Prentiss Inn.

"Great location, comfortable hotel"
The hotel is in a great location for me. I've stayed here several times while traveling to Boston for business. Its RIGHT on the red line, with a Starbucks in the lobby and surrounded by restaurants that you can grab a quick bite or a nice dinner. I love the location and the conveniences it affords for business travelers. The rooms are mostly comfortable although the desks aren't really functional, I spent most of one day working from the room and did so from the bed because I couldn't spread out on the desk. There wasn't enough room to put my laptop and papers out and the coffee maker is placed on the desk as there is nowhere else for it. It looks to me like the hotel is about to be redone. The lobby is very modern and matches some of the newer Marriotts I've stayed at while the rooms still look like 1990 Marriots. Additionally, the hotel was booked on my last trip so I ended up in a room that didn't match my request. Additionally, I met my boss in the lobby or what I thought was the lobby for 20 minutes to talk and we were stalked by a waiter who said we were in the bar area and were supposed to order if we were to sit there. It was the only vacant spot with a table that we could meet which made it a bit awkward. That said, I will definitely stay here again. The staff is great and the location can't be beat.
