"This was an amazing trip. The hotel kinda feels like staying at a luxurious camp. The outdoor fireplaces were fun to sit around. The hot tub was nice. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would 100% stay again"

"Everything turned out fine but the Expedia website says that pets are only allowed in specific rooms suggesting you could get a room where cats have not been present. However when we arrived the front desk employee told us pets can be in any of the rooms but the rooms are thoroughly cleaned after each visit. My partner is severely allergic to cats so for that reason we would not stay there in the future. As it turned out we had no problems and enjoyed our stay. "

"We loved the location and the property! We had a spacious room in the 1970's building. Next time we will tryout the historical side that was built in the late 1800's! The back patio and grounds were amazing and the lobby, sitting room, lounge and dining rooms are a blast from a ritzy past. We walked to the Hidden Kitchen for an awesome breakfast with great coffee!"

"The hotel was very nice A short 10 minute walk to the beach The “breakfast “ was not breakfast. It was packaged pastries, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee and hot chocolate. The staff does not replenish the items so get in early if you want to eat something Otherwise, cute little spot."

"I honestly don’t understand why Cambria Beach Lodge has such a high rating. The hotel looks beautiful in photos, but in reality it’s very misleading. First of all, this is essentially a motel-style property, not a proper hotel. The rooms are extremely small and very poorly equipped. There is no table, no chair, no microwave, and no refrigerator in the room, which makes even a short stay uncomfortable — especially if you’re traveling with a child. For families, this place is simply not suitable. There’s no way to warm up food or store anything, and overall, it lacks the basic amenities you would expect. The “breakfast” is also very disappointing — it’s really just a name. The only options were boiled eggs, pumpkin bread, bananas, and coffee. There wasn’t even regular milk available. Another inconvenience is that the reception closes after 10 PM. If you want something as simple as hot water for tea, you have to call and wait for someone to come. And of course, there’s no kettle or coffee machine in the room either. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations set by the photos at all. I would not recommend this place, especially for families."

"Great breakfast items and location is fantastic! We have been several times and always love staying here. The rooms are incredible clean and house keeping goes above and beyond! Love this little gem!"
