As for the weather, it rained my entire trip. Of course that was not their fault, but it was the distinguishing memory of this trip. I have stayed at Bluebird Inn several times now and have used it as a halfway stopping point between socal and norcal. I have always been happy with service, staff and grounds. This time I decided to stay in a deluxe room for 2 nights for the last weekend of my trip. The upgrade was worth it for me. I liked the fireplace, which threw off a surprising amount of heat. Plenty of hot water for shower. I know its not a big deal to most people, but i liked the lighted mirror in bath. I couldn't really sit out on the balcony but appreciated the option. I did see that the creek behind the hotel was running a lot of water. Again, that might not much to many people, but it was kind of hypnotizing. I appreciate the gardens behind my balcony. I will stay again."
