Bel hôtel accueillant à Arromanches

Posted 18-Jul-2016

Picture Perfect

Les Villas d'Arromanches was the best decision for a place to stay while we toured the Normandy Beaches. It is centralized, giving you access to the roads you need to hit the historical sites, the staff were very friendly even giving us a booklet about Normandy with maps for each location, and the town of Arromanches was cute. The grounds are very nicely kept and the hotel itself is clean and has a lovely older character to it that is everything you dream of in a small beach side town.

Close to town

Posted 17-Oct-2015 on Hotels
Comfortable hotel not far from Landing beaches and Bayeux. Town has simple restaurants with Moule, or mussels (area specialty). Hotel is old but well-kept. No elevator, so not good if you have heavy bags. We only took upstairs a small bag of necessities and left the rest in our trunk (the boot). Easy drive to Bayeux - spent a lot of time there. Would stay there again!

Beautiful Boutique hotel in a charming beach town

Posted 11-Oct-2015 on Hotels
It is located 5 minute walk to one of the many museums related to D Day, the hotel is boutique surrounded in a lovely large garden with wonderful funny sculptures of cows, the lobby is well appointed, the owner and receptionist were very convivial, the petit dejeuner was delicious and offered a variety to choose from, close to the Beaches and 6 k to Bayeau....Highly recommend it, deserves more than a 2 star rating...clean and comfortable, tables and chairs outside the hotel on a patio for evening drinks...they also offer wine for sale by the bottle.

Convenient and Comfortable

This hotel was perfect for a base to explore the D Day beaches of Normandy. Just a short walk to the town of Arromanches for the museum, the historic beach and great food. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful old inn.

Pleasant accomodations in an historic setting

Posted 07-Oct-2015 on Hotels
Very authentic country French inn. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable; service was adequate for a place of this size and staff was friendly and helpful. Easy walk into the village where there was one quite good restaurant, La Marine, but not much else to do; good central location for day trips to Bayeux, Caen, the coast, and even Honfleur and Mont St. Michel. Peaceful and quiet with nice grounds. Very good value.

Dear Jesper, thank you for your comment. We read with pleasure that the stay was pleasant to you in spite of the size of the room. We take note of your remark concerning bathrooms. We inform you that half of the rooms will be renovated from November. Do not hesitate to return, we shall show you the changes with great pleasure. Best regards, the management team.
