Wonderful staff and such a cute little town. Restaurants within walking distance and the region is so full of history. We had an excellent stay at this beautiful hotel!!!

We were on a 16 day European road trip and stayed here after seeing the DDay beaches. It was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been on, US and abroad. We got there very early in the morning from Paris. They had plenty of parking and held our bags until check in. When we came back to check in they had already put our stuff in the room! Every staff member we spoke to was incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was very very clean and spacious. I didn’t hear any outside noise either. Towel warmer was nice too! Less than a 10 min walk to Gold Beach. I highly recommend staying here.

A lovely old property with great views and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast choices with a comfortable bar/lounge for relaxing after a days sightseeing. Easy walking distance to plenty of restaurants.

Great base for Arrowmanches
A very good Hotel although our room was relatively small and on 3rd Floor. Only for two nights and a 10 min walk to town, very secure parking in the grounds

This was a beautiful hotel within walking distance of the town of Arromanches. The room was clean and spacious and contemporary. There was a nice lounge where you could sit and have drinks. The parking was right on site and the staff was wonderful.I loved this place.

DISAPPOINTED!!!
Upon arrival we saw the car park was full so we tried to drive around to the front of the hotel to park. However we were quickly greeted by what appeared to be the owner, who came accross very passive aggressive and was clearly annoyed we had driven down to the front of the hotel. The pictures on hotels.com show the hotel looking glorious and immaculate but when we arrived the overall presentation of the hotel and grounds were shabby, untidy and unkept. The reception area was a conservatory at the side of the hotel. When were then shown to our room which to our disappointment was not located directly within the château itself, as we assumed it would be due to the way the hotel was advertised on the internet. There rooms are actually located at the rear in a purpose build block and didnt give us the chateau experience we expected. When we entered our room it smelt badly of damp. We had a small patio off the bedroom which was also poorly kept with weeds coming through the concrete. Later than evening we returned to the reception area to take a few photos but the hotel owner was clearly very irrigated by our presence and asked us to move to a different area. We didn't feel welcome. We felt we were in the way so returned to our room. Overall we were very disappointed in the hotel stay and owners attitude. It was very overpriced and didnt give us the château experience that it was advertised to be.

The location was local to the village, with great road links to the area. The staff were lovely and couldn't be more helpful. If we come back to Normandy, we'll stay here again.

Beautiful setting right in the middle of history! Staff are lovely, pool is heated and in a nice sun-trap area, breakfast buffet is lovely and rooms/bathrooms were spacious. Lovely view of the sea from our room and, in a triple room, the second bed was a proper one and comfy. Arromanches town center is a few minutes walk, with dining options (Le Marine & Fish Co) and the renovated museum is well worth the visit!! Stayed several nights, very relaxing!

We were visiting from the US, and stayed at Les Villas d'Arromanches for one night while visiting the Normandy Coast and D-Day sights. What a wonderful experience at this lovely hotel! We deeply regretted not booking more than one night. The room was immaculate, nicely decorated, and we could see the ocean from our window. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. We chose to have our breakfast there, and it was delicious with a wide assortment of foods to choose from. While we did not use the pool, it looked very nice. This is one of the best hotel stays I have ever experienced. The village is quaint and peaceful--felt very safe. Again, our only regret was not staying longer. We will definitely be back, God willing.

This hotel was great. I wish we could have stayed longer but we had plans to go to another town. It is a few minutes from Omaha beach, the american cemetary. The D day mueseum in town is great as well and is walking distance. Very neat sea side town. I would love to go back and spend a week here.

The room was large, comfortable and very well thought out. The towel warmers were great. The water pressure was very strong. I wish my bed at home was as comfortable as at the Villas. When the kitchen staff found out I was a diabetic, they brought me Splenda every morning. The service was impeccable,once I asked them for a restaurant, they wrote down the name and address and made sure it was open (this was the very slow season). Breakfast buffet was delicious and very plentiful,almost too much—- and we ate their for five breakfasts.The location was great for visiting the D-Day sites, right in the middle.My wife and I are definitely coming back! The view from our balcony was wonderful,overlooking the entire town.

Fantastic property!!! The rooms were update, fresh, modern bathrooms. Quiet, comfy bed. Staff very pleasant and responsive. I advise getting their breakfast there in a lovely dining room with soup to nuts. Swimming pool very clean and inviting. A treasure of a place. And don’t forget the bar and lounges. Loved it.
