This "motel" appears to be a converted Nursing Home not a purpose built motel. Im not yet old enough to be staying in a Residential Aged Care Facility.

Couldn’t fault anything, we stayed in one of the self contained little cabins. The staff are friendly even the grounds keeper. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Great place, a little noisy early in the morning at 5am due to contractors having breakfast in the cafeteria near our room. But overall a pleasant stay

Great place to stay
We enjoyed our overnight stay. Staff really welcoming and helpful ,the room was spacious. Service station and food outlets right next door was very convenient.WIFI didn’t work in the rooms at the back is my only negative.

After a long day driving , Comfort Inn Parklands was a home away from home with excellent accommodation, great dining and very friendly and helpful staff. Would thoroughly recommend as a place to stay.

Loved the big room and set out. Curtains fell down and we had to be moved twice but given free buffet breakfast. Dinner at night was great after a long day driving.

Arrived late and the staff were very accommodating and understanding. Explained what to do, where to go, who to call etc. Room was clean and very well presented. Perfectly situated right near the highway and fuel station. Highly recommend!

Ended up in a cabin. Was great. Small walk to a dining room. Alas no menu, just verbal, no costs mentioned. My lamb chops n baked pumpkin appeared to be not freshly cooked. But shocked at payment time as dear for what we got. Staff very helpful

Great welcome from the guy at reception upon arrival, Room was clean and Tidy basic and functional. Had a set dinner which was great value and a good wholesome meal Depart early hassle free as just left the key card at reception as pre arranged. All in All great value stay.

Comfortable - but not city-centre Calliope!
Very comfortable and good value. Friendly welcome with good instructions to find our room as unusual layout. ?former aged care facility. Very close to major highway intersection so easy access accommodation on road trip, with service station and eatery next door. But definitely not in Calliope.

Aging property but it has everything you need for a basic stay. The food smelt amazing coming from the kitchen, where there is a set two-course menu available that changes daily ($25). We had three beds in our room and there was plenty of space to move around in. Staff were super helpful and very very accommodating. After a very long day driving, that was very much appreciated - even offered to help with our bags.
