Only a few rooms in the hotel have been renovated to look like the pictures, mine was not, looked like it was renovated in 1970, but it was clean, no mold, no bugs. Bed was firm but comfortable, smart tv and good A/C. Big issue for me was no mini fridge. Ivan the manager was awesome, very helpful and kind. "Limited food at the resort and no frozen drinks but the neighborhood was very walkable for getting outside food and drinks. Staff was amazing and my husband and I because great friends with Jose at Tequilaria. He helped us practice our Spanish and also recommended some of his favorite local eateries. We had an AWESOME time!"
"One of the few hotels in PDC that has a waterfront. It has a small beach area with lounge chairs and palm trees and I love the sound of the water crashing onto the shore. It adds to the serenity of the property. Although I did see a person or two in the water, its not really a swimming beach as the propertys beach is created woth a retaining wall of sandbags to prevent erosion. The water during the day gets murky with sediment, especially because of the local fishing charters that dock right off the water. My daighter even saw a 30" wide stingray cruising iff the coastline. There are friendly locals offering services inclduding fishing charters, massages and local trinkets. The property is located a block away from the clubs in downtown PDC but angled far enough away that the sound is barely noticable. Everything is walking distance. Loved the hitel. Everyone is so friendly and I would love to go again. "
