Omg this has got to be against the law.

This place should not be allowed to let people stay here.. there isnt enough space to itemize what is wrong with this place but the highlights go like this.. the sliding panel that was the only bathroom door and it separated the bed room from the bathroom was broke so laying on the bed ur looking at the toilet.. our room door didn't lock one whole drawer was just missing from.the dresser and the chair was in such horrible condition they absolutely got it from someone else's trash or a dumpster.. the bed and pillows were the worst I have ever slept on. It is a picture of what happens when a owners only goal is to spend 0 $s on his guests comfort and even less fixing any issues or even normal wear that comes with owning a hotel.. doors, locks, pillows, sheets. I won't even waste my or ur time goin over how horrible the cold cereal (captain crunch) I swear to god and sour watered down orange juice breakfast was

Pros: Value & location
Cons: Better well trained management and attentive maintenance. !!
Location: visit Solomons river walk & dinning (4 miles). And St. Mary's impressive historic old town -Maryland first capital. It was on my wife birthday.
My wife & I had stayed at several Red Roof hotels in VA, NJ, NV, & MD over the years. They were much better maintained. The California MD hotel was barely acceptable: 1) we were given the spacious HANDICAP room no. 100. 2) there were sticky several bubble gum patches on the bathroom floor. SEE PHOTOS 3) the wash basin was too high for my 5 foot wife. I cannot imagine a guest in a wheel chair using it. 4) the shower stall light was not working. 5) the room's coffee maker was dusty inside and unsuitable for coffee/hotwater. 6) when using the breakfast area, the bread toaster was half-working because of missing handle. 7) the hot water dispenser for tea in the breakfast room was not cleaned properly. The water was brownish in color. 8) someone pulled the fire alarm handle at about 5pm. It took more than 15 minutes to reset. leaving many guests annoyed waiting outside. The hotel staff seemed confused and did not reassure guests. 9) there were 2 SUV vehicles left long-term in the front parking area w/out license plates w/cardboard signs. 10) there was a unsightly BBQ grill left unattended in the back parking lot w/ paperplates left on the grass. 11) unsightly outlets w/out covers

Pros: the staff and the rooms. very well kept.
Cons: nothing that I can think of
Location: very close to our daughter house.
I stay at the red roof inn every time we go visit our daughter which is at least once a month and I enjoy staying there I know the staff and they know me. It feels like I am at hime.

Pros: The location.
Cons: The air quality, clean floors, clean surfaces, clean shower, proper sink, decent tissues and fix the screen on the window.
Location: Plenty of restaurants, one movie theater, shopping. Historic attractions. Naval Base.
The air was smoky, the floor and night stand were sticky, the shower was dirty and moldy, the screen on the window was broken, the make shift sink was too high to comfortably use. The tissues were in a small package. We were only allowed two towels per room. The breakfast was minimal and the advertised (photo) waffle maker was not there. Only half of the toaster worked. At checkout, we could not have a paper receipt because we booked through Expedia and not the hotel. The night before we left, the air conditioner began to fail.

Toilets and Refrigerator not working

Pros: Location
Cons: Update washers and dryers: replace carpet in hallway on first floor; landscape(cut grass)
Location: Plenty of shopping and restaurants; NAS; Cove Point
Upon checking in, toilet was not working and refrigerator was leaking water. The problem with the toilets was not limited to my room. Plumbers were called in and they worked until late evening. The next evening they showed up and replaced the toilet. The manager, Alicia had my refrigerator replaced that first day. The staff was very considerate and did the best they could with limited resources.

Bed was sagged noticeably in the middle making it impossible to get a decent nights sleep. Also, pillows were hard & lumpy.

The property was not very welcoming. The hostess was minimally helpful. The room was not too clean.
