"Nice secluded area; owner is NOT joking when she says bring food and water with you because closest store is 45+ minutes away (same for gas) ; the local general store doubles as a burger stand and was delicious; we made the trip to 100 Giants and Kern River ; both were great!"

No breakfast provided other than coffee, so bring food, beverages, snacks or stop at a store on the way and use fridge and microwave. Restaurants 5 minute drive away in Kernville. No pool. Free parking. Quiet. I'd stay there again."

"The perfect family getaway to make everyone disconnect from their devices and enjoy being together. We started a 1000 piece puzzle and worked on it as a group during our stay. There were plenty of games to keep everyone entertained. The kids enjoyed running around and exploring outside. The pool was smaller than expected but we still had a great time. They pretty much have everything you need all you have to do is bring food. The view was amazing."

This is not far from there and was a great place to stay with all the amenities you could ever want or expect in a remote location. The kitchen was fully loaded with cooking utensils and pots and pans and the propane grill worked perfectly. Had a great time and left feeling refreshed. Planning to come back to do some more hiking in the fall or spring."
