"Beautifully clean and presented, 20 min walk into Calheta beach. Fantastic staff. Breakfast is freshly prepared daily and is delicious. They also have a restaurant for evening meals, and the food is good, but nothing mind blowing, we expected a bit more as it was offered as a ‘tasting menu’, but that’s the only downside. We stayed for 5 days in the Groto room and it was huge and well appointed. Would return! I was ill on the last day and we asked to check out as late as possible so I could recover, they did their best to help and we checked out 3 hours after time, thank you! "

"This is our third stay at this wonderfully located villa. We love Jardim do Mar, and this villa is our No 1 choice for holidays in Madeira. If it had some sort of solar powered pool heating it would be even better. Other than that, it is pretty much perfect, clean, lovely views, spacious and really quite classy."

"We stayed for the first time on Madeira in Casa do Gabriel. We had a fantastic time. Madeira is beautiful with one week not being near enough to explore and do all the things Madeira offers. Our choice of Casa do Gabriel to stay in was an inspired choice. The house is fabulous, well equipped, comfortable, well located, private, clean, lovely hostess, fab garden with fruit we were allowed to pick! We loved everything about our accommodation and our stay in Madeira."

"Absolutely fantastic stay! I come to Madeira yearly and when I’m with family I ALWAYS stay at either Leahouse or Laurishouse and you cant beat the location and the fantastic community! With the highway right there you can go everywhere. When we have any issues they respond quickly and never a problem! The houses have EVERYTHING! Top quality! Strongly recommend, you wont be disappointed!!"

"Quiet tidy accomodation. Away from other holiday makers. Jhonny local caretaker friendly and offered help but none was needed. Thomas gave good directions as we arrived in early evening and it was dark but no difficulty finding the villa. Friendly bar just a couple of minutes up the road walking for cold beer and cooked us a pizza despite being after 9pm."

"We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Prazeres. Our host, Catia, was lovely, responsive and so helpful. All her recommendations were top notch! The location was also superb and close to a wonderful local coffee shop, restaurants and beautiful views. The house is so comfortable and clean. The pool was also a nice addition to our stay. We can't wait to return."
