The gentlemen at the front counter was very polite and helpful. However the hotel is in desperate need of repairs. The hallway was quiet pungent as was the elevator. The suite only provided 2 bath toels. There should be 2 large, 2 hand towels, and a floor towel. It is very odd to have 2 adults in a room and only 2 towels for both adults. Ovetall, we would not return

The room we were in looks brand new but the equipment and furnitures are already broken. Blinds were broken, lots of dings and chips on some cabinetry, the lamp shade has a broken metal wires! Worst was I requested for non smoking room and the bathroom reeks of smoke. As i know this can’t be controlled from a previous customer it should be flagged in their system by a housekeeper and shouldn’t be used by the next guest. I only stayed here one night and came in late at night so i’m tired to ask to even exchange a room.

The hotel is not up kept. Room was dirty and a bit smelly. I found hairs on the floor. Also the room door did not lock automatically. They sent someone and took 30 minutes to replace the battery. Shouldn’t they check the room before putting guests in? The guy brought a bunch of used batteries not even the brand new ones. You could tell they invest very little to maintain the hotel.

They are under renovations and you get no notifications until room is paid for and it’s non refundable no public washrooms in lobby you must check in to use bathroom and it’s a 25 fee for early check in . The hallway smelled like marijuana and ppl smoking in hallways at night . There was no ice machine either . The plug in don’t work on the bed dude table

The renovation part was all good but the transient residents made me feel unsafe. Customer service lacked at times. Beware of the $30/dog per day fee above your room cost. For that price highly recommend spending a bit more and staying elsewhere.

It’s not horrible and it’s not bad for why you paid for. The room itself was nice and updated and clean. However the rest of the hotel has some downfalls. The hallways and staircase m smelled strange and had smell of smoke. Part of the roof is being worked on in the lobby. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

They charge for everything, even leaving your cart in the hallways is $50.00. All front desk staff has diff policies for customers, 1 night auditor is rude. Complain about pet peeing outside yet it’s still pet friendly which they are removing soon as per management. Clientele outside of the hotel is bad with solicitation and drugs. Rooms are decent, just have to fix everything overall.

First of all the elevator wasn't working and they give me a room on the 3rd floor after I told themI was very sick. The room was not ok, the bathroom reeked of urine, i went and purchased my own cleaning supplies.The shower curtain was so horribly stained with urine, I couldnt get the smell out. I left this place with utter disgust. Cost me more for the cleaning supplies then anything else! There was also people openly doing drugs out near the front door!

The pool and hot tub have not been working now for 4 months as well as the of April 1 they will not be allowing pets! Every time I have stayed there were happy pet owners, I don’t know why they will be no longer allowing yes but this is very disappointing.

Room smelt like it was freshly smoked in, sheets were dirty and full of grit had to get clean sheets. Duvet was stained and smelly. Using the microwave blew the breaker whenever it was used. Poor lighting. Worst budget room in Calgary.

There was an issue with another customer that caused a lot of havoc in the hotel tonight. Fire Alarm being pulled, screaming down the halls, and no response from reception. They ended up dealing with the issue at around 3am, but just made us absolutely exhausted.

King black hair in bed and on towels. Room wasn’t cleaned. Toothpaste and soap residue all over sink. Ketchup drops on tv stand. No breakfast when it said it was included. Smelled of marijuana and cigarettes in the hall.

Elevator is not working and we are on the top floor. The stairs we took are dirty and smells like pee all over. Room is so small. Sheets and carpet feel dirty. Two small pillows provided in the room ( like seriously, these are the size of throw pillows). Door is a little wobbly, which we felt unsafe, left the room reservation and booked other hotels. We were not given a refund, as the booking is non refundable, wont come back and wont recommend it at all.

The scariest hotel I have ever stayed at. It was a o awful I was scared to sleep. The first room we were put in was on the 5th floor. The bathroom door had holes in backside of it, there was no locking mechanism in on the door and on top of that the electronic door lock to prevent break-ins did not work at all. Thankfully we were upgraded to a new room on the 4th floor but to think that they even thought of placing someone in that room is ridiculous. The new room was so hot and stuffy that turning the temperature down and opening the window was not enough to cool it off. It was equipped with 2 large TVs that did not work. DO NOT STAY HERE. Communication: You cannot get through to reception. There isn’t a voicemail box either so if you have concerns, it may be a waste of time to call. Safety: Unsafe. Just stay away. But if you are staying, make sure you double check that your door locks. Food and Drinks: They said on the website that there is a take and go breakfast. The breakfast is a piece of fruit and half a sandwich. We bought breakfast both days

I would like to give them minus stars. They don’t have drinking water, poor customer service, very rude guy at front desk, don’t have supplies in washrooms, corridors are stinking, garbage placed all over the corridor. Worst experience ever.

Elevator was not working. We were told it hasnt been working in weeks. I was put on the 5th floor with my wife. Very stressful to climb the stairs up and down. Iron looked rusted. This morning as at 10am, i was told the breakfast had been ordered but it wasn't ready. Had to leave with no breakfast Previous Breakfast -packaged and not enough. I was highly disappointed. Doubt I will book the place again.
