Safe, clean, quiet, helpful

I traveled by myself and felt safe. Trouble with the TV and when the lady at the front desk couldn't solve it, she came up. I was grateful. It was a lovely room. I came to Airdrie for a family funeral. Liked having Smitty's for all meals so I didn't have to go out. And I slept well each night. Can't ask for more than this! Thanks.

Things that make you go hmmm

Unfortunately, breakfast is not included. I likely just missed that. Hotel staff did why they could Problem with first room and we're quick to move us, but still plumbing issues in second room. Washer not working in the hotel room so no towels at the pool.

Spacious rooms and great staff

Pros: The front desk staff was really accommodating, friendly and professional. We loved our large room with 2 king beds a full kitchen and fireplace.
Location: We needed to be close to the Genesis centre so the location was ideal. Extreme pita and Pho Eastlake are close by and both delicious food options.
Our swim team booked a number of rooms at the Ramada because it was close to the pool we were swimming at. Our family needed an early check in and were kindly accommodated by the friendly front desk person. The room was spacious and clean, the king beds were really comfortable and the kids loved the pool and waterslide.

Nightmare stay... Will not return to this hotel

We checked in on December 27 and there was only one person working in the entire hotel. After checking in we went up to our room to find that it hadn't been cleaned yet. The girl who checked us in came up and "cleaned" the room while she also answered phone calls. She had to leave three times to answer calls so the "cleaning" took quite a while. None of the supplies were replenished (shampoo/conditioner, coffee) and the soap that had been used by the previous guest had been left in the shower. There was a green G-string left on the floor. When we checked out we mentioned the conditions to the fellow at the front desk. He offered us a gift certificate that was only good at their hotel... which we did not accept as we will not be returning.

We regret that the room was not ready yet when you arrived, our Guest Service Agent did her best to make the bed ready as you did not want to move to a different room when offered an upgrade. Little get away

Good Hotel, Bad Service

They were running out of the room type that we booked. They tried to find excuses to blame hotels.com for inaccurate info and refused to give us the equivalent alternatives. The guy at the front desk on duty knows nothing about their computer system and kept changing his story on why my reservation was wrong. It took 2 hours of standing at the front desk, multiple calls to the manager and few rounds of room showing to get the issue resolved. The room is fine, big space and clean.

Three bedrooms DO NOT exist here!

Booked a three bedroom and was told three bedrooms don't actually exist and was given a two bedroom instead. Was also an issue with saying we hadn't paid for the room when in fact it had all been prepaid through hotels.com (in the end they had someone else's credit card on our file?!?!)

Yes we do not have three bedroom and the room you got is our family suite with two bedrooms and a living room ideal for 8 guests. It is our policy to ask for guests' credit card upon arrival even for pre-paid reservations as the card we have on file is the online travel agencies'.
