Spectacular property. We also stayed at another Paradores, in Arcos. Wish we’d known about the whole Paradores chain ahead of time. We’d have stayed at more of them.

The view, the comfort and the location are superb. The amability, hospitality and efficiency of the staff would easily earn this hotel as a 5-star rating. I will return!

Breakfast was wonderful! The housekeeping staff always managed to clean your room while you were at breakfast. Amazing! Other than two men at the front desk, who seemed kind of disengaged, all the staff were terrific! Special thanks to the housekeeping supervisor one evening, who helped asleep by getting our neighbors to asleep by getting our neighbors to Be a little quieter. Very nice that the bar served food at all hours so you could eat when you arrived.

Superb relaxing hotel in perfect location!
The hotel is spotlessly clean from the bedrooms, bathrooms to the restaurant and public areas. Gardens beautifully kept and a real bonus with plenty of sundbeds on the grass, with amazing views overlooking burriana beach, the mountains and the sea. Breakfast choice and service was excellent, we particularly liked the egg station with made to order omlettes and scrambed eggs some of the best I have ever tasted! White linen tablecloths, real silver tea and coffee pots and terrrace with incredible views made it all feel very luxurious. This hotel is in a perfect location with burriana beach, bars and restaursnts less than 5 mins walk using the hotels private lift, and the lovely town of Nerja and the balcon only 10 mins walk in the other direction. This hotel could very easily be 5 star in terms of service, friendly staff, quality of food, cleanliness and little extras like free canopes served in the garden, local honey, anchovies and treats on various days in the room. The only crititism was the lack of any evebing entertainment. Don't get me wrong its not a hotel you would want to see bingo or a cabaret but since the hotel pictures show a piano in the bar, it would have made our holiday to have somone play a little cocktail piano. As a musician myself I asked the waiter and he told me the piano was locked and hadn't been used in a long time. A little misleading and disaapointing in our view. We didn't find the hotel dated as some reviews mentioned. Overall highly recommended!

Great hotel
really lovely hotel, good location for the beach, friendly staff. We wasn't advised about, or offered breakfast, that's my only negative comment. Rooms are a little bit dated, but completely comfortable and sufficient. great sea views. Parking is chargeable, but you do have the option to find a parking space locally if you do not wish to pay. you are give a free amount of time to check in.

Lovely stay again. We love the quiet. I will say I think the rooms and bathrooms need to be updated, the lobby is nicely updated from when we were there last year. The beds are very hard. We noticed a lack of some amenities in our room. Breakfast is delicious and with that beautiful view it’s the best! Thanks to the nice staff.

We had a change of plans, there was not way to negotiate anything with management. We paid a night too many in my mind, even if that id what we booked, I expect to be able to have a discussion when a change happens. Detestable staff. Other things were under maintenance, which is to be expected in down season, I guess. The room next to us had a loose panel on the balcony and made a racket all thru the night. Would avoid this Parador at all costs.

It was the first time to staty at Parador in general and Parador de Nerja. However I and my wife believe it was a great choice to stay around the area. I think it has everything we need, such as quit, clean, great view, comfortable. If I point out the one negative point, we could not go to ocean because the elevator to ocean was out of order, but it might be a small comparing to other great things.

We were very impressed with this hotel. It was in a beautiful location by the beach (loved the convenience of a lift to take you down to the beach!) but it was also very easy to get to the shopping and restaurant areas. The hotel pool was quiet and the gardens were beautiful and peaceful with plenty of sun loungers to relax on. The room itself was spacious and clean, beds comfortable. We really liked the cake and fresh fruit which was left in our room on a couple of occasions! The staff were helpful and very pleasant and the breakfast was lovely, lots of healthy options. The only criticism we had was the lack of an extractor fan in our bathroom but but this was a very minor aspect. Overall we were delighted with the hotel.

The Paradore is located less than 10 minutes easy walk to the Balcon d'Europe. There is Iift access to the beach if you don't fancy lounging in the immaculate garden and pool area. The hotel itself is a bit dated and could do with modernising but the location and excellent service more than make up for the slight 1990s look ;-)

It was an excellent stay. The property is beautiful and calm, great view of the sea. It's only a short walk to the Center...10 or 15 minutes, and the Center is a lot of fun. The food at the hotel was great quality. I will stay there again.

After three visits we love the Parador Nerja a great location.lovely staff and nice grounds.The new extras were appreciated like gowns slippers kettle and safe.Downsides are the beds and pillows which are so hard and not comfortable and a walk-in shower is a must the rooms don’t currently have.
