BEWARE. The property was a Best Western before it got flipped and it shows. The rooms themselves are nice and clean but the property is in an extremely rough neighborhood and the staff do not give a flying F. The singular desk staffer laughed in our faces when we pointed out that we had been waiting outside in the parking lot for half an hour because she was late for her lunch. Other patrons noted that their keys randomly stopped working and she was completely unhelpful. This place is genuinely so badly run it's crazy.

We had a world class experience at the Bower Hotel. Noah, the front desk gentleman was so helpful. He immediately set us up with two electric bikes, which were complementary.
The general manager, Sean Murphy was also very professional.
There is an adorable rooftop bar called the Dive, which had great drinks and a great vibe. Although we did not eat there, the food looked delicious, especially the hamburgers.
All of the staff, at the dive, we’re friendly and welcoming
Our room was very contemporary and comfy. We especially liked the high-end Dyson hair blower. That was a great perk!!
We can highly recommend the Bauer boutique hotel for your stay in Coronado!!
