We spent 5 nights at the hotel after having travelled around India for three weeks. It was a beautiful haven oozing with charm and peacefulness which is exactly what we needed after a hectic time.
The staff were very welcoming and one night after knowing that I attended a cooking class the waiter asked the chef to cook a meal from his village to give us a typical Goan experience. He then proceeded to write down the recipe so I can make it at home knowing I had an interest in cooking. The meals were beautifully prepared with fine attention to detail.
The hotel and grounds were immaculate and we really enjoyed speaking with the staff.
Restaurant experience can be improved. Same menu everyday makes it little boring for people who stay for longer duration. Room Service needs improvement, its very slow. Rest all, its a perfect hotel and good to go with.
At first they gave us very bad rooms.... One room smelled very bad and had no balcony or one room was like a warehouse...Then we had a possibilities to speak with manager (who was very nice person) and she gave us the proper room. Pool was okay, but quite many broken places, what caused problems to my child, 3 years old.Breakfast place was very nice , even live with live music, but food choise was quite average.
Late chek out until one clock was very good and many thanks for that.
Hotel is very noise, full of kids and poor choice of music. On the 15 of December they will become "Hard Rock" hotel with pop and disco music. It's located far from the beach more then
30 min walk . Poor breakfast and very expensive drinks.
Traveller from Vancouver BC.

This northern coastal town boasts one of the most popular beaches in Goa, so don't be surprised by the presence of crowds, as well as hawkers, souvenir stands, and cheap beach shack eateries. Crowds are at a peak around Christmas and the New Year, as well as in May, before the monsoon season kicks in. Once that arrives, expect rough seas through September.
