Hotel set away from main resort in quiet residential area.Nice pool with private grounds leading to small secluded beach. Hotel feels slightly dated but still well maintained. Half board option was good buy as the food is very good with plenty of choice. It's our second time at the Punta Rotja and we will be returning next year as we like it so much. Would recommend hiring a car or you might feel a bit cut off.
We haven been at the hotel for 11 nights with our 3 year old son. The hotel has recently been refurbished and is very modern, and is very close to a beautiful beach. The best bit though was the hotel staff. We were always greeted with a smile, everywhere, from everybody, and there were always little chats going on with our little one. Best staff we have ever experienced in a hotel!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, we had an apartment that was so well equipped with everything you could possibly need, very good in all ways, location, views, room/apartment cleanliness, food, staff, I had a facial and back massage and as a beauty salon owner I was very pleased and a very nice lady, treat yourself you wont be disappointed.

Good size rooms. There were lots of German clients, but that didn't bother us. Location OK. Didn't use restaurant at all, we preferred to eat out. Also used the kitchenette(kettle, toaster, two rings, fridge) for breakfast and some lunches. Beds in bedroom really big and comfy, although our sons sofabed in lounge was very hard - but he still slept.
Great Hotel, the most customer focused staff I have ever encountered. Big smiles from the fabulous breakfast chef cooking to order omelettes, pancakes, fried eggs etc, to the lady who turns back your bed and leaves a chocolate on your pillow. Lovely position on beach front. There are a lot of German guests but no problem, maybe a little weak on entertainment but I would highly recommend and certainly return. Well done to the management for a good job all round.

Also very close to shops, bars and restaurants. Walk a few minutes more and you are right in the busy part either on the beach front or just behind where all the shops and other bars, cafes etc are. The restaurants and bars cater mainly to the German people.
Generally very good and pleasant stay. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and very good service. There was a problem with wi-fi in the room which they quickly solved by moving us to an alternative room. Actually room is the wrong word, each is a suite with lounge and 3 piece settee. It was a very comfortable and relaxing environment. We ate very high quality food from the a la carte menu, highly recommended. The tennis courts were not in very good condition and bring your own racket if you want to play (racket grips on the hotel's rackets were destroyed). I agree with the comments it is probably 4+ rather than a 5 star hotel due to these minor things. However, overall a very enjoyable and pleasant stay helped by the excellent and very helpful staff.
