Their pool was not available for use since they were using that area to store elevator parts. The gym wasn’t mentioned that it was an extra cost and not actually part of the Hotel upon check in.

Dear, Please note Thar there is sign explaining about the Elevator maintenance , accordingly it is connected to swimming pool area.As for the Gym , F.O Staff anfdGym staff are always reminding the guset that it will charged as Extra ChargeB. Regards

They refused to accepting my reseevation , they dont know orbitz although i presented my receipt. They asked to pay again. I left the hotel and wentvto somewhere else and i list my orbitz points.

Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere!
Awful place! Smelled of cigarette smoke, terrible breakfast, elevator that dropped half a floor, and broken electrical outlets. The neighborhood was a mess as well. I've stayed in crazy places around the world and can handle bad accommodations, but I couldn't wait to get out of this place!

Cheaper of two bad choices in Maadi, Cairo.
This hotel is in a state of poor repair. The problem is there are really only 2 hotels in Maadi and this one is half the price of the Sofitel. I have stayed at the Sofitel too and it's not much better and certainly not worth twice the price of the Maadi Hotel. So, in the end you can just choose the Maadi Hotel based on price and make the best of it. Just keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed.

it is not as it was written 4 stars, it is not more than 2 stars
The hotel need a lot of maintenace, particulary in AC, and Lefts. No Parking and you will find your self immediately in the middle of congested traffic street. So noisy at night with dog barking and people fights.

Satisfactory quality for the price.
Having stayed at the hotel seven years before and lived in the town (suburb of Cairo) I knew what to expect and exactly what the location was. It's very close to anything you need in Maadi including the metro to go into Cairo. I had no worries about safety or security, taking usual precautions. Breakfast salads were fresh and other Egyptian-type items adequate and copious. This hotel does not cater too much to the luxury tourist trade but more for the working or business man. One can see that some years ago this hotel might have seen grander days. There is noise in the street from traffic, but not too late and the call to prayer sounds at about 5:30am. This is a Muslim country. The price was right for me and comfort was all I needed. Room cleaned, fresh and clean linens, no complaints.

What's happend? 1) not provided hot water 2) bad room condition (table below too many dust...i think do too many do not cleaning) 3) too many mosquitos 4) in bath room, do not fixed shower hose...and then can't shower 5) old towel condition...

Thank you for your comment:please note: hot water is available for all rooms in all pipes, if the client means jar of hot water(rarely requested) he had to inform room service 2-will investigate dust issue although we had not receive any complains before 3/ area is between green trees ,may be the client opened the window for long time 4/ we are all at client's service he should inform th F.O about the shower if it is not well fixed to help as usually happening in all hotelshowever, thank you for keeping us update

التعامل عند الاستقبال ممتاز.. الغرفة جيدة... توجد مشكلة رائحة مجاري تنبعث من التكييف... مدة الإقامة 6 ليالي وطوال المدة لم يتم معالجتها... الفندق مقابل السعر يعتبر غالي ويحتاج للتطوير وتقديم خدمة أفضل لأن سعره يعتبر سعر 4 نجوم وهو مصنف 3 نجوم.. المنطقة جيدة للحركة وتتوفر بها خدمات طوال 24 ساعة لا انصح به

The staff were very nice and helpfull. The cleanliness is quite good with regard to how old the hotel is. Rooms should be in a bit better shape and breakfast is really limited. Weak fee wifi. Security 24/7 is a good thing

Un hôtel 4* qui en vaut à peine 2
Très déçue par cet hôtel qui n'a rien d'un 4*. Hormis la propreté des chambres, cet hôtel nécessite un rafraichissement.. La chambre est très bruyante, le petite déjeuner est correcte malgré un café à base d'un café soluble de mauvaise qualité et un jus de fruit chimique. Une jolie vue du dernier étage où se trouve la piscine mais il ne faut pas envisager de sa baigner, la piscine n'est pas entretenue. Cet hôtel est decevant dans le sens où il est classé dans la catégorie des 4* et donc les prix qui vont avec, mais pas le standing. Il reste tout à fait correcte dans une catégorie inférieure.
