Location great. Beds comfy. On arrival no advice on room eg milk in fridge. Empty water bottle in fridge. No bin in toilets. No water tumblers. Rooms very plain no lounge chair in room. Mo compendium for information. Room does not look 4 starand very unlike websire photos. Pool was clean but all deserted no shade or shelter around pool. Undergoing renovations to one area which should be divulged on booking. No on sight restaurant as advertised. Total waste of money for the amiunt i paid.

More cheap, than Boutique! Abandoned reception and restaurant gave a twilight zone feel. No blanket, dirty cups. No extra pillows. With an outdoor area ripe for a warm tv makeover series.

Very unfair and a little sneaky when booking I booked two beds as I was staying with my 25 yr old son but when I got there she charged me an extra $40 to make up the extra bed. Very disappointed ☹️

Positives - Great location and king bed was comfy. Negatives - Reception was unattended for over 20mins. Phone calls were not answered, had to search for the only person working, and they were servicing a room. Smelly room, very tired, needs a major facelift.

Disappointing return to this hotel. We remember many years ago that it was excellent but now it is very tired and needs a major refurbishment. It is obviously being run on a shoestring and it shows. Shame as it is in a prominent position and worthy of being returned to its former high standard.

I love this property! It’s in an excellent location, right in the middle of Williams Esplanade. The rooms I’ve stayed in are very spacious and have everything you need – crockery, microwave, fridge, coffee/tea…and more. The staff were friendly, and always super helpful and accommodating. Sure there’s a few things that may need to be upgraded, but considering the last year and a half we’ve had, it’s more than understandable. The pool on the roof is a real treat. It’s a great place to catch the last of the day’s sun, with a gorgeous view, and more often than not I had it to myself. Bliss. My room was on the ground floor off the lobby, and I left the courtyard door open to sleep to the sound of the ocean. Palm Cove is a little treasure of a place and Sarayi is a great find and value for money (especially outside peak months July-August)

Like other reviews we found the accommodation basic. Apparently this is what you get for $200 a night at Palm Cove. Now we know we need to pay more for well maintained and properly cleaned accommodation. If you just want a bed and basic NO FRILLS then that is OK, but for this business to claim they are 4.5 stars is false advertising.

Great location. Walking distance to all the cafes & restaurants. Clean apartment. Not many car parks at actual property so finding one close by was challanging.

The hotel was in a great location right opposite the beach and central to restaurant's, shops etc. It was a little tired and run down and in need of some TLC. The staff were friendly and helpful but I think quite new so still learning the ropes. We were lucly to get the last on site car park so you can't guarantee availability.

Hi had made a booking on wotif and it was meant to have two double beds in the room and on the day got a call from the hotel saying there was just a fold out couch in the room with one double bed and expected up to pay extra $50 on what the price was on wotif.com to get two separate rooms we did that because it was a suprise and i didnt want to tell the other parties it was extra money so i just paid. To not make a fuss. Could of got a family room somewhere else cheaper and nicer. Feature was location and roof top pool but spa did not work.

The room you booked is a 1 bedroom studio and the room details on Wotif.com clearly state the following bed configuration: 1 King Bed and 1 Double Sofa Bed or 2 Twin Beds and 1 Double Sofa Bed. When we noticed you made a reservation for 4 adults, we called you to see if you were interested in booking 2 rooms instead, offering you a discounted rate, which you accepted. We're sorry if you thought the information on the website wasn't clear enough and we still hope you enjoyed your time in Palm Cove.

Unfortunately the reception desk in both the morning and the afternoon, when I returned, were unmanned with no details on who to contact for check in. Front of building looked like it hadn't been used for years, with empty spaces and discarded chairs etc.,Other International Visitors were quite distressed as they had been waiting a long time and could not phone for assistance but after 30 minutes, even asked at the restaurant at the front but they couldn't help us, we found a number and got a company down south who advised where the keys were. Room was ok but very hot as did not look like it had been opened up in a while. Half a jug of cold water, probably stagnant in the fridge, and gecko dropping over the room. The front of the roof top pool area was quite a shock with a discarded old rusty fridge, a door hanging off its hinges and opened old cupboards, oh and a Xmas tree under the rotten old stair area. Not like in the picture on the website. It looked like a deserted old hotel from a film! I was assured by the company down south that the reception would be manned in the morning for check out - it wasn't. Deserted again. I left my keys in a crack in the reception with a note to ring me to discuss my deserted stay - still waiting for a call back. The restaurant outside told me it is quiet season but I expected to see at least one member of staff during my stay. I appreciate renovations are necessary but it looked like things had been abandoned in the upstairs

Beautiful ocean views, close to restaurants, cafes and beach, very convenient and very quiet here at the moment. Only stayed one night. The apartment needs refurbishment. No aged access only stairs. Limited free off street parking.

Thanks for your feedback! It's definitely a good spot close to everything in palm cove :) We are about to start renovating to make Sarayi Hotel bigger and better . with the stairs yes it's very sad we don't have an elevator for the elderly to get up stairs.

Fantastic location with limited parking available behind. Room was dated but clean and suited a couple just wanting a bed for the evening. Great coffee served at the coffee shop in front.
