Very quick overnight stay was pleasant and comfortable. Good value for the money and actually above expectations. The property made sure we have connecting rooms as requested and even took good care of an item that we forgot in the room and had to come back for:)

This hotel has no airport shuttle. We love the inside of the hotel which had all the aboriginal artefacts on the walls. Chicken was great and we were upgraded. All the staff are very nice. The hotel could do with a little upgrade, but the stuff made it brilliant

Walked to Botanic Gardens was very easy.. Riding the bus to shopping center was easy too. Whole city seems to be in the flight path of the airport so a bit noisy.

Very comfortable hotel Fridge wasn’t much use - too small, no ice compartment, had to lay my water bottles on there side Would have liked a microwave as I’ve got lots of food restrictions and need to make my own food but this wasn’t a possibility Everything else was great

The staff and room was nice. The only issue I had was that the wifi would not stay connected. It kept dropping and I had to reconnect roughly every 5 minutes

Property was beautiful, killer view of the harbour and reception went above and beyond when our arriving flights were cancelled by the airline. Would definitely stay here again.

Bed bugs beware
Not the best location -next to a large liquor store with some dodgy characters. Was a bit worried about the car, but didn't have any issues. While it's just a few mintues to the airport, I have a different view of airport hotels -usually a cleaner feel, and somewhat safer looking area. Overall, room seemed clean enough -but tile in the bathroom a bit old and yellowing. Worse part -bed bugs -woke up itching a bite and didn't realize til the morning what was happening. Had about 30+ bites on each leg. Would look elsewhere

Terrible review! This review is everything wrong with the world. You can make false accusations about bugs, you are paranoid about liquor stores and airport hotels, yet you had no problem with them but chose to review your paranoia. We have stripped your room and have found absolutely no evidence of bed bugs. Bed bugs are not selective on body parts that they bite, so saying you had them all over your legs indicates you have been bitten by sandflies, not bed bugs. I will now make a presumption that you were in Cairns for the Crankworx mountain bike event on the weekend and you were traipsing around in the bush and dust of the mountain bike track. The bites are sandflies and you can get them anywhere in Cairns, at the beach, on grass or in the bush. I would ask that you remove this terrible review, but again this world is not in any way compassionate, and admitting your wrong is just not done. Next time you're in the tropics just remember that somthing will probably bite you at some time. Don't assume the worst and be thankful if it wasn't something bigger.
