"The roof bar was closed so shouldn’t have been advertised as open when booking. Room wasn’t adequately prepared for heat. Fan was very weak and plug socket where we wanted fan didn’t work. This is definitely more of a hostel than a hotel. It is very very basic. Perfectly clean though and helpful staff but I wouldn’t stay again"
"They staff were very welcoming. The room was prefect for us as well and provided 2 fans. They offer breakfast with an additional price which was great. The pool and hot tub were great.Wish we stayed and extra day."
"The hotel was clean and had the basic essentials but the real selling point was the room had a fantastic air conditioning unit. We stayed there during an unusual heat wave in May. Outside temps neared 90 degrees so after being outside the whole day it was nice to come back to a room that cooled you off."
"We stayed here as a base for our visit to the beaches in Normandy. We parked at the hotel but the spaces are limited. Good restaurants near by which were walkable. Pizza restaurant next door was excellent. The room we had was on the top floor and were told at check in the elevator did not go to that floor. The desk person took are bags up the last floor. We are an older couple so I do not know if he just it because of age or it was standard. If you have a lot of luggage or need assistance you should write to them."
"Great location for train, bus, and tram. But inside - Plain white corridors and rooms made it seem like a hospital ward! No chairs, only a stool. Noisy from the street below until after midnight."
"The staff at the hotel are all amazing! From a smooth check in to all our questions they were there to help! They even helped us get the bus transportation app up and running for us.
The only downside was a slight hum in the room due to ducting in the bathroom. We were so tired from our day that we still slept peacefully!
Very central location. Beautiful to stroll along the River right across the street from the hotel.
There was a bus stop just around the corner from the hotel making it super easy to bus to the Caen Memorial and the Chateau. Choice of restaurants within a short walk down the road."
