Explore Jerez de la Frontera, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Puerto de Santa María, Conil, Tarifa and Zahara de los Atunes, and engross yourself in the region's customs. Don't miss the lively comparsa and chirigota bands at the Carnival, declared an activity of International Tourist Interest.
Book your flight + hotel to Cadiz and visit the wineries in Jerez de la Frontera, where you can sample a good sherry, and then let yourself be intoxicated by the purity of the sea and salt air at Conil. Lose yourself among the old streets of Cadiz and follow the trails marked on the ground until you reach the districts of El Pópulo and Santa María, crossing castles and bastions along the way. Soak up the history on the 1812 Constitution Bicentennial Tour, a pleasant stroll through the “Silver Cup” (as the city is affectionately known), which will reveal the key locations where the liberal constitution popularly known as “La Pepa” was drafted.
Enjoy a day of sun at the beaches of Caños de Meca and Zahara de los Atune, windsurf or sail at Sancti -Petri, Chiclana, and join the Gaditano people in the bars and terraces of Sanlúcar de Barrmeda. There's no better way to recover from all that activity than with a good plate of pescaíto frito (fried fish), a prawn tortilla, marinated deep-fried dogfish or a cuttlefish and potato stew.

Great receptionist who was very welcoming. Easy check in and even easier check out. However, the room was cold and the heating did not work very well. Despite this, still comfortable and a good stay.
Hotel was excellently situated for the centre of town and was well maintained throughout. It would be useful if breakfast was included in the costs (even if that increased the price a little) The swimming pool was adequate for purpose but was much smaller than suggested by the online ...
