Pricey, but worth it

Our light-filled comfortable room at the Paradir de Cádiz was really lovely and somewhere we enjoyed lingering in the morning and relaxing in in the afternoon when the temperatures got too high (26-29C while we were there). Our regular room on the 3rd floor faced onto the park so got sun first thing and shade in the afternoon which suited us perfectly. All the rooms have great views but if you’re more of a sunworshipper, you might want to ask for one facing the swimming pools so you’ll get max sunshine. The modern design was getting a little bit shabby in places, such as on the sliding doors in the bathroom area, and had lost some of its slickness. Whilst the bathroom isn’t totally open, it also doesn’t allow much privacy from your bedfellow so may not be ideal for non-couples.
Breakfast was great and good quality with plenty of choice, fresh bread and pastries, an egg chef, nespresso coffee machines, churros... The staff were more on the formal side than the friendly side but were happy to help with my request for a teapot.
We drove there and parking wasn’t well signed posted but we found it after circling the building - the entrance is down the side of the hotel in between it and the park on right hand side if you’re facing the sea.
Enjoyed the swimming pool area one afternoon too. Overall, it’s pricey but lovely for a treat.
