Cool and calm hotel well-placed for everything

Posted 16-Jun-2017
A very nice hotel. About a 15 minute walk to the old town in one direction and to the restaurant and hotel that Rick Stein went to in the other. Friendly cafes, a decent supermarket and the beach with sun beds just round the corner. We loved Cádiz!

Modern hotel reasonably close to centre of Cadiz

Posted 14-May-2017
This hotel looks newly refurbished. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable; the staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel is one block away from the sea front, and near to the San Severiano station (handy for getting into Jerez). The main station in Cadiz is about a 10-minute walk away. Cadiz has plenty of excellent bars and restaurants, especially for tapas, all within walking distance of the hotel.

Got to be the best hotel in Cadiz!

Posted 07-May-2017
Pros: The room, the king size bed,the staff and the car parking on site. And tea and coffee in the room.
Cons: Nothing
Location: The old city is just a short stroll, the beach is just two minutes away and if you don't fancy a walk to the old city just jump on a bus for €1.10
Great staff, fantastic room, short stroll to the old city and 2 mins from the beach. One of the best hotels on our trip. They even cleaned the car windscreen twice in 2 days.

Two night stay Retired Couple

Posted 07-May-2017
Pros: The staff
Location: The tourist bus stops at 12 locations on a circular trip and is a pleasant way to get your bearings
Reception staff were particularly helpful and friendly. The hotel is just a block from the sea and a nice beach which surfers were using in early May. The walk to the old city is very pleasant with lovely views to sea and a variety of buildings on the other side. The old city is fairly compact and it is as easy to wander through the narrow streets as it is to see the port, gardens and other sights along the perimeter of the seaside. Calle Virgen d la Palma had a nice selection of bars/restaurants sheltered from the sea winds but still in the sun. We travelled by train and it is easier to take a taxi although you can reach the hotel via steps/ramp at the far end of the main station car park which takes you to Montepuertatiera and a then short along the busy Agenda Andalucia.

Great hotel by the beach

Posted 27-Apr-2017
Feels fresh, large rooms, convenient parking, lots of perks in the room, all in great condition -- final icing on the cake -- hitting the road noticed a note on the windshield -- that it had a complimentary wash!

Great hotel in good location

Posted 18-Mar-2017
Pros: We liked everything about this hotel, couldn't fault it.
Cons: Couldn't think of anything to improve.
Location: The hotel was located 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes walk to the centre. The camera obscura is well worth a visit.
When we arrived the receptionist gave us a map and explained the facilities of the hotel. She was very friendly and efficient. The room we had was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was really good, there was plenty of choice with fruit juices, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, rolls and croissants as well as cooked eggs, bacon etc. The hotel was located 5minutes from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the centre.

Good all rounder

Posted 08-Dec-2016 on Hotels
Great hotel. Comfortable bed and good size. Bar and restaurant were to well lit and had no atmosphere. A nice touch was they cleaned my car windscreen for a safe onward journey. What will they think of next. Strange thing was they had a kettle in the room with only tea on offer, no coffee or milk. They said it was standard within the hotel chain. Breakfast was good.

Very nice historical hotel. Good size room and bathroom. Walkable to old town, bus and rain station.
