Cadiz Hotel Guide - Apartment Hotels in Cadiz, Spain

This is a very nice area. Very popular summer destination in Spain. In November it was a bit cold. They bought space heaters for us. It was an apartment, not hotel. The essential items were provided. It is a huge complex with many buildings. There were only a few people there this time of year.

These are good apartments, convenient for restaurants, tapas bars etc, and near to the esplanade, a pleasant walk with lots to see. I would go again. My fellow travellers have both liked it.

Comfortable space for three with reasonably well equipped kitchen area. Location is superb - very near to lively squares and short walk from beaches and principle sites. Check in was simple and efficient.

Facilities were beyond our expectations. Very large rooms. Hugh bathroom. Large patio. Nice pool and dining facilities.

Once you find this place, it is a pleasant change from hotels, with a sitting-room and fully-equipped kitchen. There is a small supermarket just down the street opposite the entrance, open when other shops are closed. The town has a large, interesting church, a small but elegant castle and a number of museums. There is a boat service to Cadiz, but this was not running in winter after a bad storm. Cadiz is 40 minutes by local train and Jerrez much closer - Cadiz 4 Euros day return and Jerez 1.15 Euros single (both with Tareja Dorada). Note that everything closes on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday - plan your visit accordingly.

The hotel was lovely. A short walk to the beach where we found lots of restaurants to eat. Lovely clean beach for walking swimming etc. The hotel room was beautiful but the shower stall although clean had black mold around the bottom edges and leaked onto the floor. Need to take the time to recaulk as it gives the impression of being not clean. Otherwise it was good.
