"Great hotel close to bus, ferry and boat stops.
I have visited the hotel several times over the last thirteen years. I have visited twice this year. The food in the hotel is very good and represents good value for your money. You get a four course dinner for much less than you would back in the UK or out and about in the local restaurants. The restaurant is overlooking Lake Como with fantastic views of Bellagio.
The staff are friendly, the location is perfect for transport links. The bus service to Como or around the lake the other way towards Mennagio and beyond stops directly outside the hotel. Villa Carlotta is five minutes walk away, as are the boat and ferry stops.
There is a swimming pool, which is not heated, so a bit cool in May when we went early on in the year, but it's always clean if you fancy a dip.
The rooms are clean and the facilities are generally good. TVs need a bit of updating but who needs the TV when you have a lake view over Como. The wifi may not work that great in the rooms always but you can get on in the internet in the lobby area no problem. The cleaners were in our room as soon as we headed off to breakfast and when we came back the room was spotless again. They give you little sewing kits, shoe cleaners, mini toothbrushes and mini beauty packs with nail file, Q tips and cotton wool, along with the usual shower caps, bubble baths and soaps.
Overall love this hotel and will visit again.

We had a great stay. We used the hotel as a base to tour about so didn't spend a great deal in it. My daughter loved the floating pool and the views were spectacular. We were disappointed we couldn't use the other pool but didn't realise that swimming caps were compulsory! We had a large deluxe room which overlooked the mountains and the lake. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was very busy but adequate. Parking is difficult and we had to pay each day as only limited spaces at the back of the hotel. Beware of the busy road.
This is a wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting right on the edge of Lake Como. Paolo made us feel very welcome from the minute we stepped in the door and even understood our Scottish accents. I would like to thank him and the rest of his family for being so helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel itself has been renovated to a magnificent standard with some lovely features throughout. The roof top pool has stunning views across the lake to Bellagio and the mountains beyond. The terrace at the front of the hotel is the perfect place to relax with a cold beer and prosecco at the end of a day exploring the lake and villages. Its two minutes to the car ferry to Bellagio (nice way to arrive) and only 10 minutes to the 2 other ferry stops which take you to Como and the rest of the lake towns an villages. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I cant recommend this hotel highly enough and we look forward to returning in the very near future.

Built in the mid-19th century as summer residence on the western shore of lake Como in Cadenabbia, the Villa "La Mirabella" …More
Cadenabbia may lack the cachet of some more fashionable neighbouring resorts, but its agreeably sedate hotels enjoy views no less appealing from their vantage points above the Tremezzina waterfront. Here the lake is at its widest point with regular ferry services to Bellagio and Varenna. Long favoured by the British, its Anglican church dates from 1891. The lakeshore lido has a pleasant terrace café.
