The spacious, bright holiday apartment is characterized by this color. It is on the ground floor of Sa Domu Peparosa and consists of: 1 large bedroom with 2 single beds, a spacious living-dining room with a comfortable sofa bed (sleeps 2 people), satellite TV and air conditioning. Shower bath (hair blower provided) and kitchenette with 4-burner gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator, 1 shower bath. The spacious terrace with an orange tree is accessible for guests of BRIDI only. A Weber charcoal grill and garden furniture complete the outside area. Free WiFi access (own device required). 'BRIDI' is a non-smoking apartment! PLEASE NOTE: Electricity is not included in the rental price and is billed separately. We have deliberately decided not to charge a daily flat rate for electricity consumption. For ecological reasons, the apartment has its own meter. This means that every guest can determine their own electricity consumption and has an overview at all times and only pays for the kilowatts actually used (price: 0,45 Euro cents per kwh). HOUSE RULES 1\. Electricity (€ 0.45/kwh) and tourist tax (€ 2,00/person and day) are not included in the rental price and will be charged separately. Tourist tax will be charged for a maximum of 14 overnights, children under the age of 12 are exempt. 2\. Please follow the waste separation and collection dates (see calendar in the apartment) carefully; if these are not followed, the rubbish will not be picked up. 3\. ABOUT US We have been coming to the island for over 35 years, consider ourselves "mezzo" Sardinians and are in Cabras as often as possible. Our fascination with and love of the traditional Sardinian cuisine culminated in a cookbook (Die Küche Sardiniens/Hans-Peter Broeckerhoff). On the website https://www.sardinien-auf-den-tisch.eu/ you will find culinary articles and information in German language about Sardinian cuisine and Sardinian wine. We are often asked why we fell in love with Cabras. The reasons are numerous - 40 kilometers of breath taking coast line and the wonderful beaches of the Sinis peninsula, the rich bird life around the Stagno and the many archaeological gems. Add to that oranges, lemons, olives, pomegranates, myrtle, rosemary and lavender in our garden, the view of the Stagno di Cabras and last but not least the hospitality and friendliness of the Crabarissi, their cuisine, their wine - do we need to say more? The british Guardian once described the Sinis coastline as "the wild west of Sardinia", a very apt description of this for the large part still undeveloped coast and the rich fauna and flora (spring here is a feast for eyes and nose). If it's Tuesday it must be .... Is Arutas? Or Maimoni? Mari Ermi? The choice is your's, in fact you can choose a different beach for every day of the week and all within a short driving distance. Cabras is still authentically Sardinian, without frills and chic chic, we like that. Apart from the coast and beaches what else is there which makes Sa Domu Peparosa a good choice for your hols? Supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies and the weekly market are within walking distance, as is the museum Giovanni Marongiu and ALEA bike rental. The nearest beach (Torregrande) is just under 2 km away, the Sinis Peninsula offers wonderful beaches with 40 km of coastline which can be reached in a short time by bus or car. The Sinis Peninsula is known for its spacious sandy and quartz pebble beaches. Even the names sound enticing: Is Arenas, Is Arutas, Maimoni, San Giovanni di Sinis, Sala da Ballo, Sa Rocca Tunda, Sa Mesa Longa - all are close to Cabras and can be reached in a short time. Whether on the sandy beach of San Giovanni di Sinis or the white quartz pebble beaches of Is Arutas or Maimoni, vacationers are spoiled for choice and can visit a different beach every day of their vacation. A sea shimmering in all shades of blue and turquoise is reminiscent of the Caribbean on some days, the sunsets over the catalano, a large rock in the open sea, remain unforgettable. In San Giovanni, the tombs of the Phoenicians right on the beach are witnesses to a bygone era, while the archaeological site of Tharros is reminiscent of the Phoenicians and Romans, who ruled this part of Sardinia for a long time. Cabras is not only known for its beautiful beaches on the Sinis Peninsula, but also for the 'bottarga', the dried roe of the mullets (Italian: muggine) that live in the Stagno di Cabras. The Stagno is farmed by a fishermen's cooperative, the 'muggine' caught here are an integral part of the Crabrarisso cuisine and are also appreciated throughout Sardinia. The muggine roe is salted and dried in the sun. Die Wohnung inklusive Garten war geschmackvoll-dezent eingerichtet. Mit Küche, Wasch- und Spülmaschine, Klimaanlage, TV sowie WLAN hatten wir die für einen entspannten Urlaub nötige Infrastruktur. Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft unserer Vermieter war großartig. Praktisch sind die fußläufige Nähe von Bäckerei, Supermarkt, ATM und diversen empfehlenswerten Restaurants. Viele Ausflüge in nah und fern. Die Wohnung selbst ist fantastisch. Ausreichend groß, mit schönem Außenbereich zum Sitzen und für die Mahlzeiten. Sie ist ausgerüstet mit allem, was man braucht. Sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Sehr saubere und gepflegte Ferienwohnung. Sie ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht-besonders gut Strandschirm und Strandstuhl sowie einen Grill! Es ist ein Ort der Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit, was durch den mediterranen Innenhof noch untermalt wird. Ein Platz zum Bleiben und zu sich Finden. In Cabras gehen die Uhren anders! Gleichzeitig bietet Cabras eine optimale Ausgangslage für spannende Ausflüge in die Umgebung, sei es zu den Wildpferden auf der Giara, oder zum Weltkulturerbe Su Nuraxi (Nuraghe), Bosa und vieles vieles mehr. Und natürlich nicht zu vergessen: Nahe liegen die Kieselstrände der Sinishalbinsel mit herrlich klarem Wasser, die zum Baden verlocken. Sie sind einmalig schön! Familie Bröckerhoff erweisen sich als wahre Kenner des Landes und der Region und als wunderbare Vermieter und Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder!! ##### Ursula K. Un 10 en limpieza,un apartamento muy practico y con una terraza maravillosa. Sobre todo destacar el trato con los dueños, son muy amables y serviciales. Der Innenhof mit Orangenbaum gemütlich.Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet. Bei der Ankunft hat alles bestens geklappt Emiliana und Gianfranco sind sehr nett. Gute Informationen in der Wohnung von Restaurants die gut zu Fuss erreichbar sind. L'appartamento è dotato di stanze spaziose, pulite e ben arredate, ottimamente accessoriate. Volendo cercare qualcosa da migliorare, abbiamo trovato l'unico armadio disponibile un po' piccolo per una famiglia di 4 persone. La posizione è strategica: comodo al centro di Cabras ed ai negozi, si trova sulla direttrice per raggiungere comodamente in auto le spiagge più belle della zona. I proprietari sono ospiti squisiti e ci hanno dato suggerimenti sulla zona che hanno reso speciale la nostra vacanza. Siamo stati pienamente soddisfatti e torneremo sicuramente! ##### Francesco S. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable for three people. Cabras is not really a hotspot of cultural and natural beauties, but in reasonable driving distance, beautiful beaches and cultural highpoints are found. Während Bridi mit seinem Innenhof und dem Orangenbäumchen ein richtiges Cabras Feeling gibt - viel Häuser sind gegen die Innenhöfe ausgerichtet - ist Biatu mit der Terrasse, dem Blick auf den Stagno die Cabras und den schönen Sonnenuntergängen traumhaft und unvergesslich. Dass wir zu Fuss einkaufen, feine, traditionelle Restaurants besuchen und täglich frisches Brot beim Bäcker um die Ecke holen können gefällt uns besonders. Wir kommen wieder, Cabaras und die Umgebung bieten viel…...Strandleben, Natur, Kulturelles, Stadt und Land. Ein übersichtlicher Ordner in der Ferienwohnung hilft zur Orientierung und macht auf lokale Gegebenheiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten aufmerksam - alles geht ohne Stress sogar der Sonnenschirm für den Strand steht zur Verfügung - man kann sich einfach verwöhnen lassen. Dazu hat natürlich auch die tolle Fereinwohnung BRIDI im Sa Domu Pepa Rosa beigetragen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und es fehlte an nichts. Auch der schöne Innenhof mit seinem Orangenbaum, wo wir einige Abende bei einem Glas Wein verbracht haben, war sehr schön. Die Absprache mit Emiliana und ihrem Mann vor Ort hat auch sehr gut geklappt und mit den Informationen des Vermieters im Vorfeld, waren wir bestens informiert. Die Wohnung kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Alles in allem war es ein gelungener Urlaub. Lediglich die Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten für jüngere Leute am Abend in Cabras waren etwas begrenzt. Dafür entschädigte aber die Ruhe und die Nähe zu einigen wirklich sehr schönen Stränden in der näheren Umgebung. ##### Lars O. Nach zwei herrlichen Sommern und einem Herbst in den anderen beiden Wohnungen in der Via Satta, Arrubiu und Biaitu, sind wir diesmal - wohl weil wir erst so spät gebucht haben - in Bridi gelandet. Für uns fünf inzwischen etwas klein, so dass es manchmal etwas laut war, wenn wir abspülten und die Kinder eigentlich schon schlafen sollten, aber wir haben die wie die beiden anderen Wohnungen originell und liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit dem malerischen Hof mit Orangenbaum (den wir lange für einen Zitronenbaum hielten) sehr genossen. Die sich zum Wohnraum öffnende Küche lädt ein zum Kochen und Schwatzen, das Badezimmer ist wie alle im Haus sehr geschmackvoll und perfekt eingerichtet und das Schlafzimmer ist ein Ort der Erholung. Einzig das Sofabett ist für Erwachsene ein bisschen unbequem... Das Viertel mit dem Lungostagno und den kleinen Läden und Märkten ist sowieso unschlagbar. Wir haben uns wieder wie zu Hause gefühlt und sind nach zweieinhalb Wochen nur ungern ausgezogen. ##### Daniela B. Cet appartement et un peu plus grand que l'appartement Arrubiu dans lequel nous avons séjourné il y 3 ans. Il est tout aussi agréable et bien tenu. La petite cour attenante est très agréable avec son oranger. Rien ne manque pour passer un agréable séjour. Les petits commerces sont à proximité. De Cabras il est très aisé de rayonner dans toutes les directions, en prime il y a également les bons conseils des propriétaires rassemblés dans un petit guide et à ne surtout pas oublier les 2 bonnes âmes présentent sur place Emiliana et Gianfranco. Ils sont toujours prêts à vous renseigner en cas de besoin. Seul bémol pendant cette belle semaine, la literie. Le lit n'était pas très confortable. Nous avons signalé le problème à la propriétaire qui tient à le résoudre le plus rapidement possible pour que les hôtes se sentent le mieux possible pendant leur séjour. Si nous devions un jour retourner en Sardaigne nous choisirions sans problème " Sa domu Pepa Rosa" à condition toutefois de pouvoir dormir dans un lit plus confortable.
