We liked the secure parking. We booked through Expedia, but we needed to shift our booking to the next night. We contacted the property to change the booking, rather than through Expedia. Big mistake. The property accepted the change, but sent us no confirmation. I requested a confirmation via email. No answer. I called them and then received a confirmation email, but it claimed we would be charged for the room on check in. We had already been charged by Expedia. We emailed the property and requested a confirmation that the room was fully paid. No responce. We contacted their head office, who called the property and verbally confirmed that no money was owing. We arrived after their front desk had closed. A sign on the front door stated that late check ins would receive a text telling them how to access their room key. We had received no text. Finally, by contacting their 'emergency number,' we were able to access our room. A lot of hassle!

We liked the size of the room and decor the room was 107 which faced the rear of the building this was not an issue as it was quiet as we spent most of our time out and about.

Probably the biggest one bedroom apartment I've ever stayed in. Great location in the heart of Ballina. Cleanliness was an issue. The bin in the bathroom had not been emptied and there was hair on the bathroom floor. The place could do with a good dusting. However the good easily outweighed the bad including a huge balcony and we would definately stay here again.

The room was like a cave, without the proper light. Very old carpet. Its price should be 90 dollars per night not 185 dollars!

Have a look under your bed if you dare ….
Good location in the town. But only dejected rooms have water view. A little tired, uncomfortable bed , but detail edge cleaning poor. Have a look under your bed if you dare . Gym and pool was closed and no reception out of business hours

We have had multiple issues when we checked in. Two of the major issues were as per below : 1) The Down lights in the rooms were not working. 2) The gym and pool area was locked all three times when we went there.

This hotel is very well situated near the town centre, restaurants and the sea. The room was very clean Dated decor but comfortable, we had a large outdoor (without the sea view) and that was nice Bed comfortable Friendly arrival

We booked for 5 days yet there was not enough toilet paper dishwashing liquid garbage bags and other amenities. We had to ask 3 times before receiving more. Overall the service and facilities were disappointing.

Location was great, views were pleasing and large space for multiple families. Air con didn't work properly and kept turning off and the apartment was quite dusty. The biggest disappointment came from the customer service when my daughter locked herself in the swimming pool compound and there was no staff around to assist. The swimming compound is a big safety issue and needs to be corrected to prevent any future hazards from occuring. My daughter is only 2.5 years old and the swimming compound locks itself from the inside with no access from the outside -if it wasn't for my daughter being able to understand simple instructions and push a chair then climb on the chair and then pull the handle down she could have been trapped in the swimming pool complex for a long time and not knowing how to swim either. Once we informed the staff of what had occurred we were simply told " there are keys at the counter which can open the swimming complex" but there was no staff around to assist us anyway.

The 'Dust" as you call it is in fact fine residue from the mist particles of the non-toxic, TGA approved product that we use to sanitise the apartments after each departure to protect our guest from Covid 19. With regard to the pool, there are clear signs with instructions that "children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult.within the pool enclosure at all times". From your statement it appears that you left a two and a half year old unattended in the pool and left the pool enclosure. Pool enclosures are self locking to comply with all pool regulations throughout Australia.

Wonderful apartment in a great spot.
Lovely apartment. Clean, very roomy, and comfortable. Overlooking river. Childrens playground across the road. Beach 5 minute drive. Complimentary toiletries could be upgraded to include shower gel/body wash, conditioner and body lotion. Will definitely return.

Staff completely disinterested and we felt like we were interrupting at all 3 of our interactions. No hot water until morning and due to attitude of owner we didn’t even get a chance to mention it. Maybe just a bad day for them but it really impacted our experience: there’s mindfulness posters everywhere, perhaps the staff could read them instead of snarling at their mobile phone.

The apartment has a great location. Walking distance to restaurants etc..The room view was good too. Enjoyed our chats with Rohan! Thank you for taking care of us during our stay, much appreciated. We judge a place by how we feel upon checkout!! We’re sad to leave the place but carry with us the fond memories. We loved it so much that we extended another night.
