Negatives - had to remove and wash the doona cover on arrival (clean sheets provided underneath), some dishes were still dirty in cubboards, noisy upstairs neighbours - could hear their conversations and chairs/footsteps etc woke us late at night, no exhaust fan in bathroom which contributed to damp, no beach towels provided. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have staid at 1/56 Lawson St BB on a number of occasions for many years, the location and accommodation make this a great holiday, and overall it was that again, however I need to complain about the state of the unit when we arrived, it had not been cleaned, a cleaner was sent after contacting the Agent, however we had to leave & return 3hrs later. We had put things in the Fridge that we told the cleaner about, unfortunately she either didn’t hear us clearly or didn’t understand and threw everything in the fridge out, including my wife’s medication. Thankfully we returned in time to save the medication and most of the items, note a great start to our stay. When we left at 9:30 on Saturday the Agency was closed so could not lodge out complaint at the time. We had to walk in the rain, no umbrellas into town to buy some and when calling the phone number provided we were told it is self contained and we had to bring our own. I've never stayed anywhere right around the world where I have had to provide my own toilet paper. The dust in the property is severe. My partner could not sleep due to his severe hay fever. We vacuumed the lounge as just sitting on it made him sneeze. There is mould on the walls in the toilet and bedroom.
