Pleasant stay

Posted 27-Apr-2017
Pros: The price was good compared to other places in Byron.Location was good.
Cons: Maybe give the walls a scrub and make sure crockery is clean.
Location: Location is close to Main street.Nice just to stroll through the town down to the beach.
We had a 3 night stay here and enjoyed it very much. The inside of the cabin was looking a little tired with marks on walls but the bed and shower room was clean.Equiped enough to prepare own meals.Nice little pool.Site was quiet when we were there. Fairly close to town and beach. There is a woolworths supermarket on main street near where you turn off for Glen Villa which is handy. I would stay here again if I was to visit Byron in the future.

it was close to beach and very close to shops

Posted 14-Apr-2017
Pros: it was so peaceful as the nature was lovely
Cons: just the tv reception, it kept cubing, the shows would drop out alot
Location: we had the shops, lots of them, and cafes and we went to the hare krishna cafe and they sold very healthy vegan meals for very cheap prices,
the resort had lovely nature on it and was very big , and it felt like we were in the bush somewhere, and it was very peaceful , but we were only 10 min walk away from shops and 10 min walk from beach, it was the best resort i stayed in

Close enough without being in the thick of it.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Glen Villa resort. The cabins had everything we needed and it was within walking distance of everything in the town. Our only criticism was how narrow the beds were as we couldn't move without waking each other up, however I think they are restricted by the size of the cabin with regards to putting bigger beds in. I wouldn't let this put you off though as its a cracking spot and great value for money.

Nice chalet near beach

A lovely chalet on a campsite with lots of facilities. My only criticism was the pool which was very small considering the size of the site

Reasonable but dated accommodation

Posted 16-Jan-2017 on Hotels
The site is centrally located and within easy walking distance of all the restaurants and bars that Byron Bay has to offer. We stayed two nights in a cabin which was small and rather dated. The air conditioning unit was located in the bathroom and consequently had only limited effect in the main living area. The dishes were badly in need of cleaning. We used the camp barbecues on both nights. If I was in the area again I would stay there but for no more than a night or two.

Nice overnight stay, easy walk to town.

Posted 23-Dec-2016 on Wotif
We stayed in a deluxe cabin, was very nice for an overnight stay, easy walk to town. Only downside was room locks weren't very good, someone could easily break in by pulling sliding door very hard (which my partner did by accident). The aircon was also located in the bathroom which was quite inconvenient. Apart from that would definitely stay again as we paid a good rate for overnight stay.

Great location, Very Neat, a Little dated

Posted 21-Dec-2016 on Hotels
Very well kept site and the staff were great. The donga we stayed in was very neat but well overdue for a facelift. Granted we stayed during peak season but still a touch overpriced given the age of the dwelling. Very short walk into the cbd which was good.

A peaceful resort within bustling Byron Bay.

Posted 17-Dec-2016 on Wotif
Pros: See the above.
Location: Glen Villa resort is located within an estate featuring beautiful paperbark trees, calm and peaceful and yet right on the doorstep of Byron Bay.
We have been visiting Glen Villa now for a number of years. Its high quality never varies. We love being able to walk into the main street of Byron in a few minutes and Main Beach, Byron, is only a pleasant short walk away. This visit was no exception.
