Location plus

Posted 24-Oct-2016
Location: Best location - beach across the road and pool and spa within grounds. Pub has music and good food ... Plus a lovely relaxed vibe.
Great place to stay. Room was spacious and very comfortable. This hotel is a little older but well worth a visit as it is within walking distance of all shops, beaches and cafes. Free parking available and this is a real bonus as Byron is extremely busy . We did not eat in the hotel as it is surrounded by great restaurants! We will return to this hotel.

Wonderful stay on the beach

Posted 04-Sep-2016 on Hotels
We spent three nights in the resort from the end of August up until our anniversary on the 1st of September. We had a wonderful time exploring Byron Bay and enjoying the fabulous food. My only negative was that there was no window to open, only the balcony doors, but everything else was so enjoyable and with such a perfect view it wasn't really an issue

Perfect beach hotel for a Los Angeles native.

We traveled from Sydney to Byron straight and Arrived later than expected. We did not experience the town as much as we hoped but the service was great. They gave us a room with a balcony when we did not book it (well worth the extra money if I knew). The view and location could not have been better. Pretty little beach town with a great nearby brewery stone and wood.

Perfect location to walk to beach, and cafes

Posted 01-Aug-2016 on Wotif
Pros: Well run establishment and good drinks and meals.
Cons: Maybe a fly wire door on balcony door to allow for fresh air in room of a night or during the day.
Location: All Cafes are well run and have good food. Attended the Beach beer garden, The Railway Hotel, Sticky Wicket, Twisted Sister café, Fresh café and more.
Stayed before and will stay again. Staff very friendly and helpful and room made up with fresh towels every day. Perfect location to walk to beach, lighthouse, cafes and all local shops.

Nice hotel although a little dated. Very clean, great staff and very close to he beach. A little noisy from the pub next door.

The hotel was in the perfect location for us!

Posted 27-Apr-2016
Pros: The location was at the heart of everything to do!
Location: We enjoyed the beach. Walked everyday on the beach and around the town. Hiked to the Lighthouse, did yoga at the studio at the beach, went skydiving!
We were able to walk to eat and shop, to enjoy the beach. The staff was accommodating and the resort was comfortable and quiet!
