reat location for Klimahaus and Zoo am Meer
My teenage daughter and I came to Bremerhaven to visit the Klimahaus and the Zoo am Meer. We did both in a day. The best were the pair of baby polar bears, Elsa and Anna. The hotel provided a perfect location to walk and go. Their Covid precautions were good and we appreciated the breakfast reservation. All in all, our two night stay was easy and relaxing.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel, close to the port (about a 8-minute taxi ride). Nice view. Good choice if you have to pick up something from the port and need a place to stay overnight.

Highly Recommend
Reception was friendly and spoke great English. At check-out, the reception arranged a taxi for me while I was eating breakfast. Very clean hotel! You can’t beat the view if you are lucky enough to get a room with a view.

Excellent hotel.
Amazingley friendly staff. Hotel restaurant is excellent, the waiters know how to treat their clients. However the fitness facilities consist of only 1 treadmill, bike & crosstrainer. I expected at least some freeweights etc in a luxurious hotel like this one.

Got to the Hotel around 12 noon and despite I wasn't meant to check in till 3.00pm the staff checked me in immediately. Excellent staff and wonderful experience.

Very good background scenarios
It was a very pleasant stay. With breakfast included I would say it's a good value for money. Nice customer service. Available parking downstairs for 7euros/night. From parking you can go straight to lift. When you have heavy baggage that helps. The rooms are specious and clean. Four lifts so not much wait. Breakfast was with lots of choices. One small nice smoothie given every morning. Well served tea or coffee. I found the outside very scenic and good for a long stroll. Clean and beautiful surrounding. Overall a very pleasant stay and would recommend. Only issue was two English Channels on TV-BBC and sky news. Few more channels would have helped as do not speak German.

It is probably one of the better hotels in this small coastal city. The staff were nice and helpful. However it was one of the smallest rooms and two of the smallest beds I've ever seen in my entire life. That was quite uncomfortable.

Hotel was nice, comfortable and clean. Beautiful view surrounded by many thing to do- zoo, museums, mall, etc... Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Great hits for the price, we would definitely stay again.

Remarkable in every way
This was an amazing hotel. The staff were all super helpful and genuine. I got the smallest room and it had a great view, large for price and very comfortable. Restaurant in hotel was so so good and came with a large buffet style breakfast that was free.

We choose the hotel due to its proximity to the "Klima Haus". The check-in was seamless but we were a little disappointed with the room. The biggest letdown were the two single beds pushed together and not being fixed on the floor or to each other, followed by an empty shower gel dispenser, an empty vanity boxset or missing minibars items... Small things but the 2 single bed situation left us disappointed.

High Quality Hotel in Bremerhaven.
Atlantic Hotel Sail City seems very modern and was kept very clean. The lift is slightly irritating having to flash the card to reach your floor but the room itself has brilliant views over the city, a great climate control system and is a well designed layout with large bathrooms and quality furnishings. The breakfast was good with a very wide range of choice and good quality, although the breakfast staff often seemed too busy to acknowledge or be approached with any queries at times. Overall a good experience, but clear and brighter lighting in the winter dark outside the immediate entrance to the Hotel would feel more secure. The hotel reception can be hard to find if you arrive on foot in the dark as it is on the water side, the pavement/sidewalk steps next to the road up to the Lobby and Reception not clearly differentiated in the darkness with no footpath lights.
