I wouldn’t rate that hotel with 4* maybe 3*** would be fine.Basic breakfast,coffee machine was in some way working,not many options for a family with a child.

Golden Time Hotel is my first choice when I come to Brasov. Great location. fantastic staff and the breakfast buffet is really good. If you are going to Brasov consider Golden Time, you will not regret it.

What I like the most was meeting of great staff Alina specially because she went above and beyond to find me a nail technician ( I broke my nails in airplane) since all were booked.Great costumer service.

The staff was knowledgeable and nice. The breakfast was great with good variety of food. The room was comfortable and clean. If you are in Brasov look no further, this hotel checks all the right boxes.

The room and shower space were huge! We had ample space to leave our suitcases open and move around the room. There were enough outlets to allow us to recharge the phones and the camera as well as work on the laptop. We controlled the heat. Actually we closed it and opened a window to a good crisp winter air. The location is good. We were also able to walk to the closest mall and find places to eat or shop. True, it is not close to the old city but you can take a bus or walk the city, as we did. And on the way we saw Brassov and its many faces. The youth walking together, the old playing a card game in the parks, people with groceries. A city with diffrent neighborhoods and new building sites. A living and growing city. The staff was super friendly and not pushy. The breakfast buffet had a good fresh veriety of choices. And the staff there were friendly and paitent.

the roon was clean, our bed were made every day, our towel were changed every day. It felt sefe to leave money in the room. breakfast was rich and tasty.

Booked this hotel due to reading positive reviews and due to the fact it had spa facilities to use including a hot tub and sauna. After staying here four nights I defiantly would not return. I believe there are much better Hotels in Braşov with better value for money. We had two single beds pushed together which kept coming apart making it almost impossible to sleep comfortably. When calling reception to see if the issue could be resolved I was told it would be fixed. Yet the next night the same thing happened and once again on the last night to the point we had to sleep sideways on the bed to avoid falling into the hole. We also inquired about the use of spa facilities to be told there is an extra charge of 100 lei which there was no mention of that on the booking site or in the welcome book in the room either. I found this most disappointing as I was happy to pay extra to stay at this hotel because it had spa facilities which I believed to be included where as I could have stayed somewhere which was better value for money. Once again I questioned this at reception and there was nothing she could do. Constant issues with the signal with the TV in the room and with the WiFi keep disconnecting. Was hoping for a relaxing stay and yes it was ok but just very average and personally I don’t believe it was worth the money that we paid.

The checkin desk and cleaning staff were great. The restuarant staff were unfriendly so we only had breakfast not evening meal. The hotel is generally good with plenty of easy, free parking which was easy to access. The location, while not near the old town is fine as it is off a main route into the town, near a bus stop with a ticket booth, and taxi rank. The taxis are cheap and plentiful so we used them mostly (cheaper for 4 people anyway). We used the hotel bar when we first arrived and sat in the sunshine in front of the hotel, the lady who checked us in brought drinks and was friendly and helpful. During the evening we attempted to use bar, after a long wait one of the resturaunt staff came downstairs to do the drinks, this was obviously a lot of bother for him, he plonked our drinks down, we drank them in the otherwise empty bar (I wonder why) and didn’t bother again. Overall a good value, clean and comfortable place to stay in Brasov, just a shame about some of the service.

Great to have tea making facilities, a pity about no room service or breakfast in room. One member of family missed out on breakfast and other meals due to medical condition because of no room service, otherwise a perfect stay. Breakfast and restraint food was very good

Nice large and clean modern rooms with good wet room style shower room. Breakfast average at best with coffee undrinkable on two mornings due to sour milk left in machine presumably overnight - we mentioned this to staff and was rectified immediately but shouldn’t have happened. Breakfast options did not vary over the week and cooked food left in large quantities to go luke warm in canteen style warmer. No iron in room and when requested were told it was hotel policy not to allow in rooms and had to iron within a tiny cupboard room in the basement that had to be unlocked. Not good for a 4 star hotel. Gym also only available at 1 hours notice and tiny basement space.

Clean, modern hotel in Brasov
There are not a lot of modern properties and glad to say I found Golden Time in Brasov. Staff were excellent and always obliging to help. Air conditioned, modern clean bathrooms with modern conveniences like fridge & kettle as well. Serviceable Lebanese Restaurant attached and convenient location near many supermarkets on main road. Parking was best feature and much needed relief from the hectic Romanian roads. Highly recommend!
