"Affordable, great location and close to Disneyland"
The hotel is great value for money considering how near it is to Disneyland Paris (only a 15 minute walk to the train station and about 10 minutes on the train). The room was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel offers free wifi and there's a Mcdonalds and a Chinese nearby if you fancy it! The breakfast was quite pricey (9 euros+) and they add a service charge of 6 euros before you leave but it does state that on the website. Our room had a hairdryer in which was nice as not all hotels provide one! The shower was easy to use but there's a bath if you prefer!
Overall a very pleasant stay, great price and location, my friend who I went with is returning later on this year. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those who want to be near to Disneyland without paying extortionate prices!
I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose this hotel as it was close to Disneyland . Only two stops away, and less than 10mins by train. 10 euros return for two adults. The hotel was also very close to the RER station. Approx 5min walk away. Which was ideal especially after a long day at disneyland.
Rooms including bathroom were clean (apart from one towel which had what appeared to be blood on it). Bathroom didn't have broken tiles and hairdryer worked ok. Shower was fab. Good pressure and hot water. Corridors are smelly and in desperate need of renovation. Kitchenette kind of pointless as not a single piece of cutlery or crockery provided. Was handy to be able to wash our own cups etc out though and fridge very useful as our daughter likes to drink milk. No remote control for TV and Reception could not provide though we switched on manually to find no English TV channels (wasn't too bothered about that). Originally shown to adjoining rooms with 2 double beds which would have been nice (though only 3 of us) but beds not made and dirty sheets left out along with dirty towels in the bath. Immediately moved to another room which whilst fine was down the smelly corridors and overlooked other rooms and top of conservatory area.
This hotel was good for what I intended it for, a 2 night stay close to Disneyland Paris.
Its fairly simple to get to from the Orly airport (Orlyval than RER to BSG) though will take about 40+ minutes of travel time. But for a budget trip, is fairly cheap. Though if you want to be even cheaper take the Orlybus instead of Orlyval!
The biggest pros for the hotel is the price and of course, the location. For a budget trip, this was a very adequate hotel. It's in a nice location (mostly apartments, some hotels, and markets. The rooms are small as to be expected for the price. But they are clean and was quiet. If Disneyland Paris is the emphasis of your trip, then this is a steal. The hotel is only 2 stops away from Disneyland Paris by RER, which was perfect for my short trip. The hotel was clean and reception was as helpful as they could be. This leads me to the cons of this hotel.
The biggest con for the hotel is the alleged free WIFI it boasts. It is non-existant. The entire trip I was, and everyone else, unable to connect to the wifi. Reception was in a tough spot as I could tell this had been an issue with many guests, but it was out of their hands. The hotel brand itself should upgrade it's wifi or omit it from their listing. I opted for TravelWifi (which can be purchased at the airport or outside of Disneyland Paris) just so I had working wifi at the hotel.
Breakfast was OK, but not worth the price.
All in all a good, cheap option for Disneyland Paris guests!
Located 30 kilometres from Paris, Bussy Saint-Georges offers 155 hectares of green areas including ten parks and an international golf area. The former Roman village contains the only vestige of the 12th-century castle built by the De Buci family, as well as several farms and churches. There is an extensive transport network with direct access to motorways and RER line A.
